On tap at TY Harbor restaurant. Brownish amber color with a modest beige head. Toasted malt, toffee and light citrus aromas present. Strong caramel malty backbone with well-balanced citrusy hops on the finish. Creamy and rich mouthfeel. Full body with a nice bitter finish. shoulderbroken (4255) - Tokyo, JAPAN - NOV 30, 2014
Tap. Feels like american brown. Little spice, caramel sweetness, creme brûlée sauce type thing. Nice but is it an Amber?

Colour is dark amber. Nose is roasted malt, caramel and some citrous lemon hop. Taste is nice toasty roasted malt combined with a bit of zingy hop citrous. Full flavoured amber ale. Bif (2245) - St. Charles, Missouri, USA - JAN 13, 2011
On-Tap at the brewpub. Served a nice amber color with a nice tan head and good lacing. Aroma is of roasted malt citrus and a trace of caramel.
Had a roasted malt and caramel flavor with a touch of citrus and a clean finish. Medium body smooth and quite creamy. Another good drinker from the brewpub. A nice change of pace brew. Well worth a try.

Pours a slightly hazy rich amber color with a tan head. Aroma is really nice caramel, toast, some biscuit, roast, a touch of honey, and some earthy hops. Flavor is malty, caramel, toast, some nice roast, and a bitter roasty earthy finish. Nice amber. KyotoLefty (10264) - Kyoto, JAPAN - DEC 1, 2008
On tap at the brewery.
Sweet Amber malt. Strong bitter side as well. Caramel and chocolate. Rich but it has a very funky bite. Seems like something had gone off in here. Capa (3298) - Kitsap, Washington, USA - JUN 1, 2008
Draught at the brewery. Found this one to be the best of the bunch. I was surprised at the amount of roasted malts and coffee bitterness in this amber. That damn metallic taste is present in this as well- what’s with that? Flavor has a bit of a milky aftertaste that was interesting. I could have more of this, but it’s still just sorta there. zebracakes (1339) - Washington DC, USA - JAN 13, 2007
