Tap. Smooth creamy texture follows a nice balance of roasted malts, and piney and citrusy hops flavor. The aroma is a bolder in malts than hops, and it’s sweeter than the average DIPA, but it is a nice easy drinking beer even with the 8.5% Sammer (1119) - Plano, Texas, USA - MAY 5, 2012
On tap at Barley and Vine. Taste is midly bitter citrus, with a fairly muted hop profile. Very balanced and enjoyable. burg326 (5606) - Florida, USA - MAY 1, 2012
On tap at the Coffee District, poured a cloudy orange color, with aromas of grapefruit, caramel, lemon, and some grass. Flavor is the same, nice grapefruit, caramel mix, and doesn’t taste like an 8.5% beer. newcigarz (245) - Florida, USA - APR 25, 2012
Poured from a growler. Color is hazy orange with a thin white head. Smell of malts and citrus. Taste is more citrus, malts and nice bitter finish. Great fresh Double IPA. hopscotch (11236) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - APR 20, 2012
Draft... Pours a hazy, dirty orange with a small, creamy, white head. Lots of Inkblot lacework left behind ("paging Dr. Holtzman"). The aroma is a hoppy, malty collage of roasted barley, big-time grapefruit, caramel and peppery chilies. Full-bodied with zippy carbonation. The flavor provides citrusy, peppery bitterness and plenty of it - a hefty, caramely malt bill as well. Finishes crisp, acrid and moderately bitter.

On draft at Tequesta. Pours a hazy yellow with orange highlights and a white head. Nose is a nice dose of malt, some tart citrus, some lemon, and mild grass. Flavor is similar- a malty DIPA with some citrus and grass. Interesting DIPA, with some hop character, borderline English in style, but a nice hop profile. Medium in body and nice overall.
