AROMA: Grainy sweet malt with slight green fruity esters. Trace rye-like spice from Noble hops. 10/12
APPEARANCE: Pure golden hue; complete clarity. Two-finger white soap suds. Decent retention and lacing. 2/3
FLAVOR: Soft maltiness; honey sweet but no cereal taste. Green pear and apple flavors are noticeable throughout. Some spicy bitterness as it finishes. Slight lemon zest in aftertaste. Mild wheaty character. 17/20
MOUTHFEEL: Medium/light body with consistent crispness. Medium CO2. Smooth and refreshing. 5/5
OVERALL IMPRESSION: Rare to see an American Kolsch this on-point to specs. Comparable to German brews. Excellent for style. 8/10
TOTAL SCORE: /50
Really not much to the aroma, a bit of wheat, a bit of bread, and then some pears. Miniscule floral hop aromas. Some very faint fruit aromas that would be found in a white wine like an Albarino, but not nearly as overt.
Straw golden color with a fine white head that produced decent lacing.
Medium bodied, dry finish.
Hard to appreciate much here, aside from the great carbonation. BrewBrain (189) - Florida, USA - DEC 27, 2015
Bottle to pilsner glass at Capital Grill. Crystal clear light yellow, small white head. Very light corn, faint lemon aroma. Corn, European hops profile, light body, medium carbonation. Drinkable. gpekar (497) - Florida, USA - NOV 23, 2015
Poured clear and a bright yellow with a 2 finger white head. There were a lot of carbonation bubbles rising up from the bottom of the glass. The aroma had a citrusy aroma along with some bread. There was a nice crisp clean initial taste to the beer. The flavor was predominately one of a light lemon citrus. Then the flavor became more bitter towards the finish of a lager

Nicely done kolsch. This is the go to summer brew style for me, along with shandy and blonde ale. Reminiscent of a lager with unobtrusive malt bill and a slight crisp and floral hop profile. Nothing spectacular, but definitely has solid drinkability. jhliesen (836) - West Melbourne, Florida, USA - SEP 4, 2015
Bottle--light yellow color with a small head. Aroma contain both grassy and grainy notes. Taste of bread and lemon, with a smooth finish. Never heard of it before, but I liked it. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - JUL 11, 2015
Draft. Small white head atop clear apple juice body. Aroma is medium sweet, lemon, bread. Taste is moderately sweet, bread, orange/lemon, grass. Light-medium body, light effervescence. rumproasts (6035) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - JUL 7, 2015
Bottle. Hazy pale golden with one finger head. Grainy and grassy. Light sweetness. Ok, but MrBunn (2848) - The Wet Side of a Dry Town, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 28, 2015
Bottle. Pours a papery light yellow with a very thin head and bready aromas. Flavor is plain and boring, but inoffensive. A little bit of a zingy spice from hops and a doughy malt body. Light and refreshing but pretty middle of the road.
