Caramel color, light head. Caramel, light toasted grain, plastic, and something not good here. Old? Infected? Didnt like it. BBB63 (6567) - La Porte, Indiana, USA - JAN 3, 2013
Bottle via Hopscotch and served in my old school Chimay chalice: Pours a deep amber hue with a good lasting head and some lace. The aroma has notes of caramel, toffee, raisins, fig, leather, grassy and some juicy fruit hops esters. Moderate Belgium yeast esters as well. The taste is moderately sweet and fruity but there is a band-aid note that is off-putting along with a bit too much boozy character. My biggest issue is the over carbonated and thin mouth feel of this beer. Among the genre this is below average but there are some redeeming qualities. (seems that it was better on tap than bottle but looking at the other reviews)

Didn’t care for this one too much. Nose is Belgian yeast, some sweet caramel, and that’s about it. Taste is pretty similar. Pour is a murky brown with not much of a head. Weird. Chipalsa (1310) - Florida, USA - DEC 14, 2012
This was fairly light given the ABV. The aroma was of cloves, coriander and hops. It was pretty sweet and yeasty, like brown sugar even with sweetbread. If it’s not too expensive, tis’ something definitely to get wasted off of. jcartamdg (3539) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 13, 2012
Pours a light brown with no head. Aroma of caramel, malt and more malt. Taste is malty with Belgian yeast. Ultra carbonated. Not too good.

Draft at the Coffee District, poured a hazy amber orange color with aromas of apricot, pears, caramel, cloves and some pepper. Flavor is majority fruit up front with some of the spicy Belgium yeast at the back end. Decent little beer that didn’t taste like the 8.4% abv as it was advertised. dimenhetfield (2554) - , Florida, USA - FEB 11, 2012
On tap at Tequesta. Aroma has hints of dried fruit, slight malt and slight brown sugar. Flavor is a little yeasty with hints of fruit. Overall not too bad. Ibrew2or3 (8912) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - MAR 11, 2011
Tried on tap at the Florida Brew Fest 2011 addition. It pours copper with slight opacity and off white head. The aroma is a mix of caramel malts, apples and pears. Near the end of the draw additional notes of spicy yeast and cloves are noticed. The taste is pretty thick and sweet in body bringing in some pears, apple and banana. It then becomes a bit livelier with green apples, spicy clove like spices and sort of nearing a peppery note without actually getting there helping it dry out into the finish. 50belair (3697) - Florida, USA - MAR 7, 2011
On tap at TBC. Cloudy amber in color. Aromas of yeast and spice. This is not even close to a dubbel. Bitter hops, clove, banana, spices?? WTF??
