Tastes like corona with a lime in it. What does that taste like?? Lime juice. oh and yes, there is a mild tequila flavor, almost indetectable. Beer taste. . .no. ben4321 (6840) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - JUL 1, 2009
Didn’t realize this crap was made by Bud, so it’s fake Mexican crap...dwyerpg (6498) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - MAY 24, 2007
Why do they make this and Landshark? Wasn’t one awful Corona imitation more then enough?
Smells like tequila and looks like a piss lager, this is really something not to be tried again. Sweet like a soda and lots of lemon and lime and salt in it, it just is not my idea of a light beer, even on a really hot day. Plus, i don’t like tequila anyway. gross. Light, very light straw color with a diminishing fluff white head. Lime aromas with mild pear and resin. Fizzy light feel. Flavors of mild lemon and lime mixed with a hint of agave and a honey dryness. Very much a lime/lemon soda. No real malt found, but that is the case with many A-B products. Would rate slightly higher if listed as a fruit/herb brew rather than a pale lager. Somewhat like a very light radler. TheBeerGod (6284) - Newport News, Virginia, USA - JAN 20, 2003
This was not as bad as I was expecting. Tastes much like any American Standard beer but with several limes added to it. Seemed a little too sweet for the typical American Standard. Was refreshing though. Drink very cold. If it's warm, it could kill you.

UPDATED: JUN 26, 2011 Clear bottle with a twist off cap. Nice yellow label. Pop the lid for a real lemon aroma. Lemony lime citrus aroma continues while you pour, no head. Many streams of carbonation rise within the brew. Ubiquitous pale yellow american beer color. Has a taste of piney citrus, very interesting! Almost like pop in its initial taste bud senses. Beautiful tingling sensations when pressed on the tongue, just the right amount of carbonation. Is this an extremely dry carbonated soda? I have drank hard apple ciders that taste like this. I was worried about buying this because of my experience with agave in ‘to kill ya’. Has in interesting and different kind of finish, almost like the outside rind & peel of freshly scraped lemon peels was added to this drink. Would not hesitate to drink this again but I am curious if I’d be able to drink two or three of these as a session. This should be classified as a fruit beer. It is unfair to pit this against the other pale lagers.

Poured a light yellow. As bad as Corona is this is worse. Smells of corn and lime. Very unpleasant flavor. A really bad beer. Hard to believe you can make something taste this bad, but they did it. Gag. BrewDad (5667) - Olympia, Washington, USA - JUL 29, 2007

Deep aroma of tequila and lime. Light golden ale color. The flavor was full of tequila and lime flavors this was a fun beer to drink as it was an old favorite for me in college. This will do for a hot day and to quench the thirst of anyone.
Tequiza is just wrong. Wrong, wrong, wrong. This trumps Colt 45 in the 'This-would-gag-a-maggot' category. I had two swallows when they first came out (or went nationwide or whatever) and threw the 6 away.
