Hazy copper with a small white head. The aroma is pretty hoppy. Light Cascade hops with some earthy hop character too. The flavor is a nice mix of sweet and bitter. Lingering finish.
Can't help but feel this beer's a tiny bit broken. Works well enough at first, giving up a nice mix of citrus and pine notes, but an off-putting grainy tartness pops up on the back end, a clingy out-of-place sour note that can't be intentional. Ruins the pint. Looks and smells great, but doesn't matter. drfabulous (8831) - Lexington, Kentucky, USA - MAY 25, 2016
Draught at brewpub. Moderate malt and hop build. Found this to be ok, but not West Coast. Malaclemys (464) - Birmingham, Alabama, USA - APR 21, 2016
Pours hazy copper with white head. Aroma is simcoe, herbal, caramel, hoppy. Taste is resinous, herbal, caramel. Medium body with bitter finish EyeAmBaldman (461) - Illinois, USA - NOV 28, 2015
Pours light amber with an off white head. Aroma is pine and hops. Taste is bitter from beginning to end. Backend lingers a bit, which leaves a sour taste on the palate. Not a bad IPA. theisti (4238) - Kansas, USA - JUL 8, 2015
Nonic pint draft at the Terminal BrewHouse in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The pour is a mostly clear golden with a ½ inch well formed white head. The aroma is soft cracker earth, bit of citrus fruit, hint of floral. Subdued nose. The taste is a decent balance between the softly sweet malt and the subdued floral and citrus fruit hops. The palate is medium bodied, soft carbonation and a dry finish. Did the trick.

on tap at brewpub.
A: a golden color with a moderate size white head. The head has excellent retention and lacing.
M: good carbonation, but seems a tad light/watery.
More East coast than West coast, with a strong malt component that nearly balances the hop load. This does have a moderately bitter and mildly hoppy aftertaste, but the malt load is really high, and the hop load a bit low, for a beer sold as a West Coast IPA. Does become more hop forward with warming. kayres (888) - , Georgia, USA - JUN 23, 2015
Light orange. Thin white head. Dull stale hop aroma. Full bodied. Smooth crisp and a bit citrus

Draft at brewery. Gold pour, white head, mega haze. Decent retention/some lace. Aroma of citrus, floral, pine hop, caramel malt. Taste is very bitter, citrus, floral, light malt sweetness. Palate is average carbonation, oily, bitter finish. A real hop bomb. Ferris (17128) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 11, 2014
Draft - Piney hops and a bit of malt. Cloudy gold with a rich white head. Resinous and bitter of the bat. Bitterness is overwhelming and persistent.
