COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Malachi is the messenger of change. A malty red ale with just enough noble hops to balance the flavor and please the palate. This messenger brings to light our path and our fortuitous mission. Now we must truly embrace this new ability to spread beer beyond these three walls to other places of beer worship and imbibing. We must offer craft beers true to style and hearty in content to sister pubs and cooperative fellow restaurateurs to spread the gift of beer. Plus, there was this really creepy red headed guy in a horror movie that strict copywrite laws keep us from naming and his name was Malachi. Doesn’t that sound cool? Malachi.

On tap. Pours dark red with off-white head and nice lacing. Aroma is of earthy hops, red fruit and bready malt. Body is medium and slightly crisp. Taste is similar to aroma. Finish is long and dry. Ok brew.

Nothing fancy here, just a well crafted Irish Red Ale. It is, however, noticeably more hoppy than usual, reducing the sweetness and adding a light spiciness. Probably a tad more malty than average too.

Draft. Hazy amber pour with an off white top. Scent is caramel. Taste is same with a tiny bit of earthy bitterness.

Red ale taste good. Malty and light on the hops. Very good and actually looks red!

Lightly hazed amber/orange pour. Caramel malt with light perfumy/earthy hops aroma. Flavor mirrors aroma wtih a tad of bitter and just a hinto warmth. Medium bodied with good carbonation.

A dark copper color with a soapy white head. The aroma contains some caramel, toffee, and raisins. The flavor is somewhat malty with some bitterness. Can I be honest here? I like this brewpub but I taste a whole lot of I don’t give a damn in this. Seems like an extract brew. Overall Killians might be this one.

Sample at brewpub. Pours kind of reddish copper with white head. Aromas of bready malts, light hops, caramel, and light citrus. Flavors of bready malts, caramel, and light hops. Carbonation seemed kind of soft. Decent red.
