Pours dark brown with a thin light tan head that leaves lace on the glass. Aroma is burnt and roasty with a touch of ethanol. Flavor is coffee with a hint of sweetness like dark chocolate. Toasty and bready, too. Dry chocolate finish with lots of chocolate. Mouthfeel is highly carbonated with slight stinging and a medium body. Overall, a nice stout with lots chocolate character.

On tap at the brewpub in Chattanooga. Dark, ruby red to black pour, off-white head - nice lacing. Aroma of chicory, coffee, licorice. Flavor has some of the same elements with some chocolate making its presence known as well. Nice lacticity. Best of my visit to the brewhouse.

Sample from pub. In my opinion, this was the best beer poured the day I visited. Poured dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate. Taste is a nice full-bodied oatmeal chocolate stout. Lots of chocolate and malt goodness. Mouth is full and delicious and creamy. Overall, an excellent brew.
