This monster was created with some of the best chocolate and roasted malts to create the perfect blend of stout fullness and minimal fruit esters. This beer will have you trying to decide if you like fullness or the myriad of coffee and chocolate undertones more. It will also have the other stout brewers gathering the torches and storming our door.

Black with a very fine ring of a head. The aroma is mostly roasted malt, subtle chocolate. The flavor is similar, mostly roasty. The mouthfeel is a little thinner than I had expected. Decent stout though.

Draught at brewpub. Dark creamy chocolate and rich cocoa notes. Best of the bunch.

Malaclemys (464) - Birmingham, Alabama, USA - APR 21, 2016
Pours black with tan head. Aroma is rich coffee, caramel, light fruit, toffee, bread. Taste is coffee, caramel, fruity, nice thick body medium heavy. Sweet finish with astringent trail.

EyeAmBaldman (461) - Illinois, USA - NOV 28, 2015
Pours black with a thick khaki head. Aroma is burnt malt and coffee. Taste is full of coffee and slight hints of oats. This one of the best oatmeal stouts I’ve ever had. Not too heavy at all, but the backend is smooth. This is a good one.

Jamesthebrit (484) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - JUN 29, 2015
Smell is amazing. Coffee and chocolate. Looks nice. Dark with white lacing. Taste is dry. Chocolate coffee subtle. Palate is a litter bitter and super dry. Overall this is what a stout should be! Dry. Smooth. Amazing flavors.

chinchill (5377) - South Carolina, USA - JUN 27, 2015
on tap at brewpub. Pours nearly black but withdark mahogany edges. Fairly clear with a very durable tan head and decent lacing. A nice dark malt aroma without the sour notes I sometimes find. Taste follows flavor, with a rich malty flavor that produces a lasting aftertaste. No off flavors. O: a fine stout, but less hoppy tan many current American Stouts.

Dark brown with a thin tan head. Big malty roast aroma. Thin bodied. Chocolaty and not vet smooth. A decent stout but very plain ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft at the source. Opaque dark brown color, beige head with solid lacing. Nice aroma of malted milk balls dipped in coffee. Taste is espresso, dark cocoa. Very tasty.

Ferris (17070) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 11, 2014
Draft - roast malts and some chocolate. Jet black with a rich beige head. Rich on the palate with dark bitter roast and some dark chocolate. Nice.

Nero55 (947) - Nevada, USA - MAR 11, 2014
Draft. Black with small tan head. Aroma of roasted malts, coffee, and a hint of sweetness. Medium body with strong coffee bitterness upfront and some hop notes with a sweet finish.

Not very impressive bitter on the tongue not very enjoyable. For abv however has a nice mouthfeel but astringent flavor on the tongue takes away alot to the overall beer.
