My favorite every day brew! Crisp, golden color with a mild aroma and just the right amount of hops. roner77 (35) - Portland, Oregon, USA - APR 3, 2006
On tap@ Corbett Street Fish House, Portland OR. An elusive beer to pin down. Looks a light amber/gold color but has a rather round and full body. A lighter grapefruit hopping. The finish is slight bitters with an herbal taste. I could drink many of these. philbertk (1873) - Seattle, Washington, USA - FEB 22, 2010

Called Terminal Gravity Golden on the menu. Poured gold with a white persistent head. Citrusy aroma that grew stronger as the beer warmed. Hoppy flavour with a lightly bitterish finish. spikester (606) - Salem, Oregon, USA - MAY 18, 2008
UPDATED: JUN 11, 2008 Pours cloudy amber with a modest white head. Aroma is floral, herbal.
Taste is slightly bitter grapefruit with a rich malt side as well. The bitterness is somewhat astringent and lingers a long time. Excellent ESB, I must have more! poisoneddwarf (2511) - Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho, USA - JUL 12, 2010
UPDATED: JUL 24, 2010 12 oz bottle into English pint. Aroma is wort, bread, but very subdued. Pours a slightly hazy lemonade color with a medium dissapearing head. Taste is bananas, pepper, citrus. Taste is salty then sweet; no bitterness. Highly carbonated with a full body. Creamy mouthfeel. Doesn’t taste like any ESB I’ve ever had--it’s much better. The banana esters make it reminiscent of a hefeweizen and the pepper notes remind me of a saison. Interesting and really tasty. Would be a perfect session brew. 12 ounce bottle from Hayduke. This is cloudy golden with a nice off white head. The first thing I smell is pepper but it is light in the flavor. I taste grain and soft yeast. Mild bitterness tells me there some hops to be found. There is a sourness underneath. Mid glass I begin to taste more pepper and it is what could be found in a farmhouse style and it could pass for a saison. This is unique and somewhat intetesting.
