A little muddled and turbid. But very flavorful. Big and warming. Spicy and well balanced

Poured from a 12. Has a nice strong ale aroma. Flavor is slightly bitter, caramel and creamy. Doesn’t have all the crazy, overspiced flavor to it, which is awesome! Great seasonal beer!

Growler served in tulip. 2009 Vintage on Christmas 2010. Dark, dense amber-brown pour with a medium sized light beige head that slowly retreats leaving, excellent lacing. Sweet heavy malt nose of caramel, boozed prunes, brown sugar, and resiny hops. Medium-full body and complex texture. The sweet palate fades smoothly to a long, bitter finish. This is delicious!

On tap. Hazy orange/amber with an off white top. Scent is caramel, wood and sugar. Taste is caramel, bread and citrus. Very tasty

Dark, hazy amber with an off white, fluffy head. Bitter and floral hops in the nose with some oranges. Biscuits and caramel. Malty flavors with quite a bit of caramel. Some roast and bitter hops with a touch of alcohol. Finishes warm and malty with a hint of heat.

BuckeyeBoy (8301) - Boise, Idaho, USA - DEC 27, 2007
On tap at the Front Door Boise, ID. Pours out a nice amber topped with a nice tan head. A great aroma of hops all over it. A nice mix of sweetness and bitter. A very good brew.

Orange red with a thick cream head. Has a very very faint IPA smell. Earthy and spicy with some sugar. One of the smoothest beers I’ve ever had. Citrus and grass in the taste and the bitter finish lingers.

From 12 oz bottle. Pours a dark red color one finger head with nice lacing down the glass. Smell is malty with some spices in there as well as woody scents. Taste is sweet caramelly and slight dark fruit flavors. also slight piney aftertaste. Mouthfeel is medium to full. Very nice winter warmer

Tap at The Front Door: Yaaaayyy! I get to be the 10th rater! This one is a beauty! Murky brown pnd water in color with a tan fluffy head. It sports a juniper hop aroma as well in taste. The aftertaste is sweet, but balanced. I liked it alot!

Mmmm...this amber American Winter Warmer is darn tasty....sweet with a softly hoppy nose and body. really easy to drink so I had another pint. Very nice and I liked it a lot. Nicely caramel with the hops keeping the malt from going overboard. Doesn’t coat the mouth so it’s tasty in that good way without being smackingly overwhelming.
