Terminal Gravity IPA is a copper to honey colored ale with a rich malt character and a clean bitter hop finish. This full bodied beer uses malts from Scotland, Belgium and the Pacific Northwest to achieve a slightly nutty lightly toasted taste. Yeast esters provide hints of stone fruits like apricot and peach, while hops from Yakima and Eastern Europe provide grapefruit and spicy notes.

Bottle from Lee fridge. Pours a copper orange with one finger head. Mild hops in nose; more of a British bitter vs 'regular' IPA- same in initial taste and palate. Good to very good.

Tap. Pint in hermiston Oregon. Hazy copper with some head. Hoppy but sugary, dry but has a unique hop flavor. Maltiness throughout. Decent.

Bottled: unk A: amber and hazy with a finger of light yellow suds. These leave behind a cobweb of lace to a sheet of the same. S: biscuity malts with a overlay of subtle tropical fruits almost reminds me of pineapple gummi bears. Again, subtle. T: Bitter with malts. The hops are bitter, but do not offer a substantial amount of flavors beyond this. Standard hints of resin and citrus (grapefruit) M: Medium bodied (on heavy) with moderately hi carb. A bit much for the style. O: This beer is quite nice on tap, I fear this is a case of an old bottle, too bad I canít be sure... Serving type: bottle 12-09-2011

Clear copper pour with medium white head, nice lacing down the glass. Scent is both piney and grapefruity hops and bready malts.. Nice biscuty bready malt up front with great hop flavor in the back. Body is a little sticky with a bitter finish. One of the best IPAís Ive had.

If i could only drink one IPA ever again, it would be this one. Itís always better when i can find it on tap, but itís pretty good in the bottle too. It has great malt complexity, and still maintains a strong hop profile.

Bottle. Pours orange with fastly disappearing white head. Smells very yeasty for an IPA and almost sour...has a very odd smell to being itís an IPA. Has lots of caramel notes, definitely has a bready taste to it. Bitter but not very flavorful hop characteristics...just bitterness. Medium bodies, a bit flat, oily feel. Not very good, the only good part is the bitterness that it leaves in your mouth, other than that...the flavors just arenít quite there. Would not buy again.

Tap at Hop N Bean in Sisters, OR. Clear amber pour, webby lacing. Nose is sweet apple, cough syrup, small parsnip. Taste is white grape juice, sweeter, metallic bite. Harsh cough syrup and parsnip come through. Palate is abrasive, vegetal.

Bookseeb (137) - Wenatchee, Washington, USA - SEP 18, 2013
Appearance has a hazy orange color supporting a fair dissipating head leaving fair lace. Smell has a nice balance with the citric hops and sweet malt. Taste having a bold upfront flavor of an IPA with the piney, grapefruit flavor with the sweet caramel malt. Mouthfeel is medium with good carbonation.

Bottle at Beer Junction, West Seattle, WA, USA. A copper coloured pour with a thin white head on top. Hoppy, malty, caramel aroma. Tastes hoppy, malty, caramel, bitter. Decent IPA.

mrmartin (780) - New York, New York, USA - JUL 29, 2013
Clear copper pour with medium off white head. Nose is resiny hops and bready malts.. The hoppy front gives in to malty middle for a well-rounded IPA. Body is a little sticky with a bitter finish. Nice hybrid of British and American IPA characteristics.
