COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The All American Oat Pale Ale is a farm collaboration with three of our partners: Roy Farms, Briess Malt & Ingredients Co, and Epiphany Craft Malt.

Dank hop flavor and aroma from Roy Farms’ Columbus, Chinook, Azacca and Centinnial hops give way to a smooth mouthfeel and malty backbone from the combination of Briess’s Flaked Oats, Crystal Malt, and Epiphany’s 2-Row Base Malt.

Clear golden coloured body with an amber glow and a copper tint, all with a smallish, two centimetre tall off-white head. Aroma of pungent grassy and herbal hops with a nice kick of citrus and grain and a big dose of oats noticeable as well, all with some small alcohol scents noticeable. Medium-bodied; Strong grassy and herbal flavours at first with a big dose of oats, grain and a touch of herbs noticeable, all with a nice robust body of the oats which blends nicely with the rather bittering hops. Aftertaste shows some sugars from caramel, toffee and some lighter fruits with a bigger dose of alcohol on the end and some nice fresh hop flavours as well. Overall, a nice and well-balanced APA with oats as the malt and a nice kick of hops and citrus as well and a touch of sweetness, nice to sample! I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Total Wine in Fairfax, Virginia on 10-September-2017 for U$6,09 sampled at home on Thanksgiving on 23-November-2017 in Manassas, Virginia.

Lovely pale! Pours an attractive gold w/ a fluffy white head that leaves some lacing. The aroma is a very nice concoction of hops & malt. The flavor is primarily earthy hops w/ the oat/malt really smoothing the brew out & diminishing it’s bitterness. Exceptionally soft on the palate making this 6.5 % er dangerously drinkable! Another treat from one of the best!

Poured from a 22 OZ bottle into a pint glass. The appearance is a clear golden amber with a medium white head. The aroma is a nice blend of hops and oats. The taste is slight hops, grains and some citrus. A very good beer.

11/26/16. Bomber from Five Points. Clear golden pour with a nice off-white head. Malty aroma, mild citrus and pine hop character, but very mild. Nice flavor, smooth, almost creamy, nice maltiness, subtle hop character. Not bad.

Pours a clear golden brown on tap with bubbly white head that dissipates to leave moderate lace. Aroma and taste of mild malty sweetness and citrus hop notes. Mouth is a little fuller than most other Terrapin beers, but otherwise it tastes like a Terrapin. Decent.
