Great. The nose is bready with notes of citrus and clove. The beer is a deep golden with a nicely shaped white head. Sweet with notes of clove and alcohol. Strong and medium full in body with a smooth hot finish. jbruner (5277) - Marietta, Georgia, USA - AUG 4, 2012
Pours a slightly hazed golden orange from the bottle with dissipating, frothy white head and good lacing. Aroma of corn malts, light belgian yeast, and odd spice. Taste is more of the belgian yeast than smell, and an odd mouth from the spice. Weird. glennmastrange (2921) - hobe sound, Florida, USA - AUG 3, 2012
Bottle. Light to moderate aromas all around, with grain and straw for the malt, perfume for ehe hops, farts and mustinees for the yeast, with hints of pear, pineapple, white wine and coriander in the background. Head is small, fizzy, white with no lacing and is fully diminishing. Color is sparkling clear gold, with a thick amout of small particles on the last pour. Flavor is lightly to moderately sweet and lightly acidic to start, then finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly acidic and bitter. Palate is medium, oily with a lively carbonation. The aroma is a little blunt up front, but it mellows and the flavor is complex, if a bit confused. Still a very drinkable Belgian Strong Ale. Savannah, Ga - Habersham Beverage Warehouse - 22 oz bomber. Pours a medium golden with a thin but pillowy whote head that leaves a thin coat of lacing. Aroma is enticing with some floral notes, some hints of orange, a touch of sweet spices. Flavor is rich with a sweet underpinning of orange, some nutty like sweetness, an odd hint of chocolate and vanilla and a buttery back end. Mouthfeel is thick and sticky. Happy 10 years Terrapin - well done! unclemattie (4406) - Georgia, USA - JUL 28, 2012
Vintage 2012. 22oz bottle, gold foil wrapped. Pours clear, golden orange. White ring of head. Some floaties. Aroma of flowers, loads of coriander, orange zest, and some peppery spice. Tastes of sweet honey, spicy rye, clove, orange. Complex flavors, sweet and spicy. Minus the floaties it was very enjoyable. (3410).

Big strong belgian Ale flavor and aroma. Golden in color, hazy with a thin head. Nice fruit and spice flavors. This was a tasty beast.
Gold, thin white head. It’s almost clear and sparkling, as well. Smells lightly spicy, with some citrus notes, plus clove and floral notes. Taste is floral, spicy, with a fairly heavy palate. I get some licorace as it warms. aracauna (3680) - Georgia, USA - JUL 17, 2012
Draft from Hop City’s growler station. You know how some beers just seem to catch the light and glow? This is one of those beers. Perfectly clear amber seems to be somehow brighter than the ambient light in the room. The aroma is perfume-rich with the spicing and yeast. Nothing really dominates or overpowers, but this is a bold beer. Nice balance continues into the flavor. This may be one of the best beers Terrapin has ever made and I usually like Terrapin beer. smith4498 (3674) - Winter Springs, Florida, USA - JUL 10, 2012
Pours lightly hazy dark golden color with white head. Aromas of Belgian yeast, cloves, and citrus. Doughy and fruity flavor with some lemon. Medium body with average carbonation. Gachupines (1252) - USA - JUN 30, 2012
Cloudy yellow with a thin white lacing of head. Aroma is yeast with slight notes of hay. Flavor is light and spicy with yeasty, bread-like undertones. Mildly sweet in the finish, but not too sticky. Pretty solid.
