Bomber shared by Butters at the 18th Richmond Ratebeer Gathering. Pours a clear golden color with a large frothy tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of sweet and toasted wheat malt, celery and other vegetal notes, spicy finish. The taste is sweet bready malts, citrus, spice, floral and vegetal notes, pepper. Medium bodied. Decent.

Aroma is cookie and biscuit malt with honey notes, coriander and citrus notes with light spicy hops, and Belgian yeast aromatics. Flavor is fruity esters, coriander, citrus, spicy hops, candi sugar with a sweet malt background and a sweet finish. Full body and medium carbonation.

Fruity and spicy aroma with some malt in the background. Medium to full body with notes of orange rinds, yeast, dark malt and spices. The finish is fruity with a grainy malt and yeast aftertaste. Above average all around.

Bottle... Lightly hazed golden/orange ale with a small, creamy, white head. The bouquet offers spicy, musky phenols and hops interwoven with fruity orange essence, clove, coriander and white pepper. Full-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and lazy carbonation. The flavor is well-balanced and spicy. Pale malts mingle nicely with traditional witbier spices and fruit rinds. Finishes minerally, mildly spicy and lightly bitter.
