The Taco Mac Windward pour was pale golden in color, and fairly cloudy. There was no head to speak of. The smell was very enticing, with clear aromas of coriander, orange peel, floral perfume, and the unmistakable twang of Belgian yeast. The taste fooled to with all the qualities of the aroma, whole adding flavors of banana, clove, and pepper. The mouthful was quite sticky and the finish very boozy. Overall this may be the best beer ever brewed by Terrapin. Happy Anniversary guys sharkweek (119) - Statesboro, Georgia, USA - MAY 30, 2012
This is a Delicious beer. It looks great, it smells great, and it tastes great. I enjoyed the flavor a lot. You can pick up a vanilla and banana flavor to it. If you get a chance give this one a try. Braudog (6763) - Yorktown, Virginia, USA - MAY 17, 2012
Draft at the Birch! Very light amber/golden pour, with a thin topping of foam. The beer is packed with flavor, a tapestry of bright summer herbs, light citrus, a hint of yeast, and a tight little graininess one has to associate with the rye. Exceptionally easy to drink for a 10% beer. Excellent. (#4598, 5/16/2012) Cybercat (5894) - Georgia, USA - JUN 5, 2012
Strong, malty fruity aroma has a subtle undertone of yeast and a hint of - is that coriander? Yes, coriander! It pours a beautiful clear solar yellow with a thick, fluffy and rather persistent white head. Flavor bursts with malt, orange, apple and butterscotch with a bit of a hoppy undertone and hints of yeast and coriander. Smooth, firm texture has a decent amount of fizz and leaves a nice fruity finish that has hints of coriander and hops. Special indeed! BTW I’m drinking this while watching the transit of Venus on-line, for what that’s worth. southernolkart (55) - - DEC 24, 2012
Pours an orange amber color. Aroma is very zesty with a heavy Belgian yeast aroma. Very zesty taste with a complex blend of fruit flavors. A nice finish with taste of green apples. One of my favorites. Would definitely drink again.

Draft sampled at Magic City Brewfest. Aroma and flavor were banana, a floral spiciness (apparently chamomile), mildly yeasty and bitter, fairly sweet, some citrus, lots of fruitiness. Long bittersweet finish. Thick, oily mouthfeel. Alcohol is well hidden. Well done. aracauna (3616) - Georgia, USA - JUL 17, 2012
Draft from Hop City’s growler station. You know how some beers just seem to catch the light and glow? This is one of those beers. Perfectly clear amber seems to be somehow brighter than the ambient light in the room. The aroma is perfume-rich with the spicing and yeast. Nothing really dominates or overpowers, but this is a bold beer. Nice balance continues into the flavor. This may be one of the best beers Terrapin has ever made and I usually like Terrapin beer. nlderricks (16) - Fayetteville, North Carolina, USA - AUG 17, 2013
This was good. It followed a gross bottle so my perception may have been skewed, but overall a treat.

bottle. hazy gold with a medium sized, creamy, white head. lots of action in the glass with the bubbles. strong vanilla and banana nose. just a really big white beer. the flavor has a nice sweetness, plenty of vanilla, a little spice and a creamy(not syrupy) palate. carbonation is high. real nice job with this.
