COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This mammoth imperial red ale leads with a tantalizing hop aroma that is quickly complemented by an enormous malt backbone. Finishing with a multitude of hoppy goodness, this “Monster Beer” is truly not for the faint at heart.

A hazy amber beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma is super hoppy combined with ligth notes of caramel, while the flavor is sweet with strong notes of both caramel and hops. A nice hoppy monster.

Draft at Paradiso Alexandria. Amber color. Aroma of butterscotch, flavor starts sweet and syrupy, then turns malty, then finishes nicely bitter. Not overly hopped, so the name is a bit deceiving. Decent.

Cloudy dark brown beer. Nice creamy tan head. Nose of old chocolate malt. Palate is soft and a little dry. Soft chocolatey malt, tasting a lot less aged than it smells. The malty goodness turns quite creamy. Some hop comes through and provides a semblance of balance. Finishes soft and semi dry with minerals and hop bitterness and sting. Another easy drinking beer from Terrapin.

[email protected], Stockholm. Deep murky reddish brown colour with a small creamy beige head. Aroma is caramel malts, some bready malts as well as some citrusy, grassy and fruity hops along with mild notes of spruce. Flavour is caramel malts, some mild bready notes as well as lots of citrus, fruity, zesty and floral hoppyness. A nice balance between the malts and hops makes this rather easy to drink, even though being above 8 % ABV.

Bottled, thanks Immy! Clear dark amber, rich dense head. Hoppy estery pineapple and grapefruit aroma. Sweet and caramelly with near full body. The hops hide in a sea of spun sugar and caramel. More hop aroma than bitterness in the finish.

12 oz. bottle, pours a murky dark red / mahogany with a beige / tan head, one-finger in width. Very aromatic nose, with heaps of caramel malt providing a strong backbone, grapefruit, dark fruits and truckloads of resinous hops. Flavour is both sweet and hoppy, in superb balance, with truckloads of both resinous hops and grapefruity / caramel malt. Finishes sticky sweet and mildly bitter. Most excellent.
