WOW if you like Hops this is the beer for you. Terrapin Hopsecutioner is probably one of the most hoppy beers i have ever had. I love hoppy beers there for i fell in total love with this beer!
Had it out of a can, thanks chiguy68. Looks pretty, but.... aroma of my basement, clear copper hue, minimal white lacing. Heavy malt bourbon taste mixed with some stankonya. Bulk_Carrier (6065) - Vermont, USA - JAN 2, 2017
Poured into a becher pint glass, the appearance was a hazy dark orange gold color with a white to off white foamy head. Light speckled lace.
The aroma took in some earthy sweet to semi-spicy hops with some caramel and toffee malts. Dried woodiness. Some orange sweetness.
The flavor balances between the dried woodiness flowing over the malts. Sweet with a touch of bitter and that balances on into the aftertaste and finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Moderate carbonation. Bitterness feels there on my tongue.
Overall, decent AIPA but doesn’t seem to really "grasp the bourbon" as it says on the bottle. Perhaps, find a fresher bottle for next time. I don’t see any dates anywhere, so this stands for now. NikkTwist (3191) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 25, 2016
Draft at the Irish Pol. Hazy dark orange gold with soft off-white foam that left a schism of soapy lace. Moderate earthy hops. Aroma is a bit blunt. Giant flavors. Medium caramel malts. Mandarin peels. Wet oak planks. Woody citronella candles. Bitter-sweet. Not nearly as hop-powering as described but not bad. screigh (727) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - MAR 8, 2016
Pours a slightly hazy dark gold. Large white head. Light hop aroma. Sweet with fruity hop flavor. EvanFriend (578) - Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 21, 2015
Floral hops, a little spice, faint citrus. Decent malt background, I get some honey flavor. I like it.

Poura a clear orange. Has a faint citrus hop aroma. Taste starts smoky and has heavy caramel, citrus hops, and pine. A dry bitter hop aftertaste. tillmac62 (727) - Gaffney, South Carolina, USA - FEB 10, 2014
BBD 5/14. Clear golden with a touch of amber pour. Nice head with lasting lacing. Very nice nose of citrus hops - grapefruit with a touch of lemon over a slight sweetness. Almost medium body with a mouthfeel that is almost slick. Low average carbonation level. The flavor profile is quite tasty and is hop flavor based, rather than bitterness oriented. It begins with citrus, mostly grapefruit, over a slight malt sweetness. It progresses to a nice low level burst of bitterness and grapefruit tartness. The finish is smooth over a bit of effervescence that is sweet, tart and has a lingering soft bitterness. Quite nice! jefcon (1827) - Arlington, Virginia, USA - OCT 3, 2013
Sticky aromas, sticky flavors, sticky finish and sticky palate. Hop glue is in this beer. Pine sap, resin, sweet fruit, syrup, vanilla and caramel. A nice earthy element from the malt. DocJitsu (1970) - Pensacola, Florida, USA - OCT 3, 2013
Pours orange-golden with short antique white head. Floral, clean nose. Wet and scrubby mouthfeel. Peach, plastic, and floral flavors. audioboneyard (1) - - AUG 13, 2013 does not count
The name says it all. Not for casual hoppy ale. Very aromatic. Packs a hippy punch but not to bitter. Not too alcoholic in taste
