My favorite part of cinnamon rolls is the icing and I couldn’t find it in this beer. Flavor is dominated by coffee with some earthy ground cinnamon notes. Aroma also only really showcases the coffee. Was anticipating a heavier/fuller body than what was delivered. Decent beer, but had my hopes set higher.

Black, with a ring of foam. Smells like...well, a cinnamon roll and a cup of coffee. A good deal of cinnamon in the flavor, with a solid note of vanilla, plus of course a lot of coffee. Maybe some coconut as it warms.

15/VIII/15 - 1Pt. 6Fl. Oz. bottle @ We’re drinking all of Rich’s American beers tasting - BB: n/a, 2013 vintage, double waxed, for your pleasure! (2015-1070) Thanks to omgrich for sharing the bottle!

Clear black beer, small creamy beige head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: lots of cinnamon, roasted coffee, sweet, caramel. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: sweet start, very roasted, coffee, bitter hoppy, bit sourish. Aftertaste: coffee, lots of dried fruits, lots and lots of dark chocolate. A lot of other flavours to balance out all the coffee, and maybe age did it’s thing as well. Like this one better than the regular. Wouldn’t want to know how much extra they ask for just adding the cinnamon. :p

At Rich’s Massive Cellar Emptying Tasting. 1 Wake & Bake 9.4% side by with 2 Wake & Bake Cinnamon 9.4%. 1 - Deep black reddish brown with a coffee beans and oatmeal aroma. Fairly light bodied with a bit of heat. Fairly nice straight up coffee beer. 3.7 2 - am preferring the nose on this, subtle cinnamon entwines nicely with the coffee. Light bodied, great coffee flavor and cinnamon. Really really nice. 4
