Real pretty deep chocolate brown with brandy-like lacing. Nose was spices, coffee, and a little pumpernickel. Taste was restrained coffee, bready malts, toffee, caramel, and baker’s chocolate (saw this in prior review - spot on). Light mouthfeel - but taste lingers like a nice acidic coffee. Definitely more balanced than a cinnamon roll stout sounds. Salmoniform (1272) - Sweet Home, Oregon, USA - NOV 7, 2014
Poured from bottle to Glass. Dark hue with fizzy brown head that dissipated to a ring. Aroma is cinnamon, caramel, sugar, bready. Mouthfeel is nice with a full body and crisp carbonation. Taste is sweet followed by a spice essence and ethanol finish. Overall this is a nice brew. thirdeye11 (6160) - Dallas, Texas, USA - OCT 27, 2014
(22oz bomber) clear deep brown, no bubbles. Nose of cinnamon, coffee, green pepper, bakers chocolate. Taste of coffee, cinnamon, peppers, dark chocolate, medium body, medium carb. jayzz (481) - Illinois, USA - OCT 25, 2014
i did not like the taste of this beer cold. as it warmed up the cinnamon seemed to brighten up and the richness of the coffee was more evident. im glad i was able to try this one but i would not go out of my way to try it again. rxeight (3043) - Illinois, USA - OCT 19, 2014
Bomber, brown and white wax. Brown pour. Basically a milk stout with some cinnamon. Flavors are a lot weaker than I was expecting.

Bottle. Pours dark brown with tan head. Aroma is very strong of cinnamon, coffee, a touch roasty. Taste is strong of cinnamon, breakfast in a bottle. Overall, good. DesertDevil (699) - Arizona, USA - SEP 9, 2014
22-oz. bomber. Coffee-heavy aroma with a very sweet frosting and lactose tone, flaky pastry, wet oatmeal, light nutmeg and a trace of cinnamon after it warms. Pours extremely dark brown. A medium spicy coffee flavor quickly gives way to iced cinnamon-bun sweetness before freshly baked oatmeal and very dry, bitter coffee tones emerge. Delicious flavor that works on every level. Medium body with an überdry finish. More please! GreatDane1632 (1169) - North Dakota, USA - SEP 5, 2014
Horizontal with some other whales: Dark Lord ’12, Darkness ’13, Cinnamon Roll’d Wake ’n Bake ’13, Hunahpu ’14 -- Poured into a snifter sampler. It was criminal to not drink this beer for breakfast and/or with pancakes. Incredible cinnamon and coffee amalgamation, great stout. Second best among those listed. I need to invent an instant wax remover, I’d be rich. This is easier to drink o draft just so you don’t have to deal with the wax. Almost totally black color, huge maroon brown head with good retention and lacing. Aroma of cinnamon dust and baking brownies. Taste is rich spiced brown bread, gingerbread. Delicious. Appearance: Pours almost black with a thin tan ring.
Aroma: Smokey coffee, coconut, cinnamon, snicker-doodles.
Taste: Cinnamon, roasted malt, coffee, sugary vanilla. Alcohol well hidden.
Mouthfeel: Full bodied ,a little chalky, modest carbonation.
Overall: This was fun to try. Seemed like a bigger dose of coffee than regular WnB. It’s a real mind fuck reading the words “Artificial flavors” on the bottle. I’d like them to try to make this beer without them. Very beautiful packaging too.
