On tap at Burgatory. Decent fresh hop aroma with resin, citrus, and grass. Mild sweetness with a bit of carbonic acidity. Hazy golden amber with thin off-white lacing head. Medium body and carbonation. Starts dry with light carbonic acidity, medium heavy hop bitterness. Resin, piney. Bit of caramel malt sweetness. Big bitter finish that recedes to a light orange-nutty bitterness. Mild astringency. Chalsk (1104) - North Caldwell, New Jersey, USA - DEC 22, 2012
Really impressed with this session ale. Pours a lively pale golden color with a wife foam head. Aroma of caramel, citrus, and earthiness. Light sweet citrus taste with a gentle hop hit and caramel toes on the backend. Light and refreshing. Well balanced. tastybeer (1853) - Indiana, USA - DEC 21, 2012
Bottle. Bright gold pour, white head, some retention/lace. Aroma of citrus/grassy hops, grain, caramel. Taste is moderately bitter, citrus/grass, earth, light grain. Palate is dry, high carbonation, a bit astringent, bitter finish. Must be an older bottle since this is a summer seasonal; I would bet this is better when fresh. Hazy mid-orange with a white head. Aroma was light citrus and bright fruits with a backing of malts. Medium bodied. Flavor had citrus, light orange, toast, floral notes. Not much going on here. I applaud the sub-5% attempt, and this one isn’t bad, but it’s easily forgettable. jeremytoni (3058) - Swedesboro, New Jersey, USA - DEC 16, 2012
From a bottle poured a straw color with a fair amount of head. Light hoppy malty flavor with a quick finish.

Gift from SJ. It’s a simple brew, but....it has a the right amount of orange peel, pine, caramel malts and bite to make it very enjoyable for low 4.5% beer. The name fits the brew "Easy Rider". It’s very easy to drink. Travlr (24768) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - NOV 25, 2012
Bottle. Hazy golden color, thick white head with good retention. Aroma of fresh grass, lemon, light scallions is detectable across the room. Taste is bitter grass and subtle anise. Nice. JBVatkeens (48) - Florida, USA - NOV 17, 2012
Had this on tap. Decent amount of head, smells somewhat hoppy but not really pronounced. Earthy hop taste. TomTron (452) - South Carolina, USA - NOV 15, 2012
Pours a hazy orange with a sudsy white head that lingers. Aromas of floral hops, citrus, and more hops. Taste is also packed with a big hop character and has a bit of pine/grassy notes as well as a bit resiny. Finish is dry and the bitterness lingers for a sec but not long. Probably the most complex beer I’ve had that’s abv is as low as it is. Not bad. chinchill (4995) - South Carolina, USA - NOV 9, 2012
UPDATED: FEB 6, 2013 Very surprised to see this classified as an amber ale. This is clearly closer to an APA or even to an IPA. There’s a strong hop aroma that overshadows the malt. The balance is closer in tasting but the beer is definitely more hoppy than malty. Exceptional head. A bit too thin but a exceptionally nice dry finish.
