Bottle... Mostly clear golden ale with a mid-sized, fragile, white head. The bouquet furnishes juicy citrus fruits and a delicate note of pine. Light to medium bodied with a watery mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Well-balanced, but leans slightly bitter, offering a blend of citrusy bitterness and biscuity sweetness. Short, crisp, refreshing finish. lamas (1661) - Washington DC, USA - NOV 3, 2012
Bottle. A hazy straw pour with a smallish off-white head. The pungent aroma is comprised of weed, grapefruits, citrus rinds, caramel, rosemary infused olive oil, and buttery toasted bread. Goes down fairly medium-bodied and kinda crisp. Caramel and buttery toasted wheat bread upfront taste-wise. The finish is slightly sour/tangy with an abundance of lemons, oranges, and bitter grapefruits. A tad oily here and there with some hints of rosemary. Weedy. Piney. Resiny. Grassy. Interesting. Shared from a 12 oz bottle shared at with friends. Pours a greenish gold with a white head. Light hop aroma. Bready notes. Mild bitter finish. burg326 (5630) - Florida, USA - OCT 25, 2012
12 ounce bottle pours an amber color, aromas of light citrus, hops, some light pepper, and some grain. Flavors are the same, more citrus in the flavor, a little bitter in the after taste, decent beer overall. hopsandvines (61) - Asheville, North Carolina, USA - OCT 23, 2012
Oxidized, low american hop aroma, also with low malt profile, yet sweet, has grassy unrefined hop flavor, dull, unfefined. I think this would be better fresh on tap. Oxidized.

Nice frothy white head of varying sized bubbles. Nice fruity and hoppy aroma with some white grape, pepper and some soft grainy malts. Color is a bright golden copper. Very bitter and fruity flavor with oranges, grapefruit and grapes. Some more grainy malts and a bit of chalkyness like you would find in a wheat or rye beer. Rather thin body with a pretty substantial bitterness. Finishes dry and bitter with lingering grapefruit. A ok brew that I would classify as an IPA. SamP01 (668) - New Jersey, USA - OCT 18, 2012
Pours a golden copper amber with a medium off white head with some light lacing. Aroma and Taste is of floral pine hop, citrus fruity notes, orange peel, with some biscuit malt, and caramel sweetness and mild bitterness. Palate is a medium body with moderate carbonation, nicely balanced sweet bitter notes on the tongue, smooth drinking. Finish is a nice combination of floral pine hops, sweet caramel malt and some flavorful citrus, orange peel fruity notes. Overall a very good, smooth and flavorful brew

from notes - not a super fan of this one. Pours a faint read, mostly yellow straw to gold. Flavor was straw with faint hops, mildly malted. Flavor has hoppy presence with light sweetness. Light to medium body with light lacing. Wasn’t a big fan, personally. carolinakev (6) - South Carolina, USA - OCT 16, 2012 does not count
Twelve ounce bottle poured into a tulip glass. Golden hued color with small one finger head that dissipates after about 3 minutes. Nice citrusy lemon aroma. Tastes of light sweetness with citrus. Slight hop bitterness. Thin mouthfeel but smooth easy drinking ale. Great hot summer day beer.

The nose is soft, a bit difficult to tease out, mostly hops, with abit of citrus rounded out with a fresh plant scent. Pours with a tiny bit of haze, mostly gold with a little orange, and a white head. The taste maintains balance throughout, just the right amount of bitterness to balance it while remaining sweet. I found it surprisingly full bodied, with a fizzy pop in the middle that settles out on the tongue. There’s also a bit of a fruity undercurrent, something like grapefruit. So you get pretty much what it says on the tin, an easy to drink session ale with a bit of hop character. Hard to say no to it, good execution on a straight forward idea.
