Bomber, #507/6168. Poured a lovely shade of fiery orange with a dense beige head. The aroma picked up sweet, toasted nutty notes, golden raisins, vanilla, and peppercorn spicage, with molasses sugars if you dig deep.. mightily malty, but there was a decent yeasty complement. The flavor was sweet as expected, with molasses, honey, and raisins leading this time (molasses came back strong on the finish too).. peppery and fruity notes from the yeast laced throughout.. dried out on the finish, leaving molasses, dark fruit, and spicy yeast. Medium-bodied with creamy, filling carbonation upfront that mysteriously disappeared toward the back (it felt almost flat on the finish).. OK balance, with a bit too much emphasis on the sweet stuff.. solid drinker overall. dimenhetfield (2554) - , Florida, USA - JUL 17, 2012
Big thanks to Blake for sharing this bottle. Dark brown color with a medium size fluffy head. Aroma was a bit different, hints of raisins and grapes (though those two are pretty much one in the same). Flavor however just seemed a bit un-balanced. However the drinking experience was a good one. Drake (14332) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - APR 24, 2012
Bomber shared by Butters at Slutfest 3, Richmond, VA, 4/21/12. Pours a hazy amber color with a thin frothy head. Decent head retention. Aroma of toffee, herbal hops, spice, candied fruits. The taste is tart dark fruits, toffee, herbal hops. Medium bodied. Butters (4062) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - APR 21, 2012
Sampled at Slutfest 3. Hazy orange pour with ring of khaki head. Very sweet and honey and vanilla and and light hoppiness. Not my fave of the series. just feels ’phoned in’. kp (10880) - Woodstock, Georgia, USA - DEC 25, 2011

Appearance: muddy brown, fine beige head, sudsy lace
Aroma: sweet fruity aroma, caramel sweetness, lots of fruity esters, light earthyness
Flavor: rich malt flavor, light sweetness brings out the fruity esters, an earthyness struggles to dry it out, just a touch of phenolic spicyness

still rich and fruity, rich chocolate, touch of caramel sweetness, less earthy, phenolic spicyness has faded as well, still good but faded from the original,

bottle thanks to bu11zeye. poured gold with a white head. aroma and flavor were orange and caramel wit a light body and medium carbonation. paultheguru (662) - Parker, Colorado, USA - NOV 25, 2011
Pours almost reddish mahogany color. Yeasty aroma, clove, bubblegum. Light brown sugar notes, smooth malty body, little hop appearance as it should per style. A little muddy for my liking. Not a huge Belgian style fan, but this just isn’t doing for me. hellbilly (3306) - scottsdale über alles, Arizona, USA - OCT 12, 2011
bottle #3/6168 at dak’s 1/31/11.
pale amber... a little hazy and not very dubbel-like.
it smells and tastes like bubblegum, alcohol, florals and rice... actually, it’s all sake. it even has a starchy rice texture behind the thin alcoholic body.
this is horrific... unless it is sake. then, it is beer flavored sake and still terrible. scotchzi (372) - Florida, USA - SEP 2, 2011
