651mL courtesy of MrChopin. The pour is a clear, orange amber with a thin head. Aroma is sweet cherry syrup/grenadine, toffee, candies. Taste is very chalky, mineral heavy, and then sickly sweet. Slate, stoney, dry palate. Not happy about this one. ryan (3185) - Beltsville, Maryland, USA - MAR 27, 2011
Golden raisin and honey nose, slightly vinous. Taste is moderately sweet, lightly bitter, some white wine, some toffee, lots of golden raisins. Travlr (26406) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - MAR 27, 2011
Bottle. Looks too light to be a dubbel. Doesn’t taste like one either. Pretty decent hops, but metallic and cardboard flavors. jrob21 (3874) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - MAR 21, 2011
Cloudy amber, brown with a decent and frothy white head that dissipates pretty quickly. A little bit of red fruit and much more chewy grain and toffee sweetness in the flavor. Aroma is toasty grain. The body is very light and the finish is incredibly quick. Goes down easy but not a lot of character to keep you entertained for an extended period of time. crossovert (14128) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAR 16, 2011
Tried the series last night, this one was second. Bottle number 1335/1459. It is a lighter, clearer, amber/orange colored dubbel than most. It is super fruity, but i feel some of the alcohol isn’t hidden enough.

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a tan head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, fruit, and dusty hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, fruit, caramel, and alcohol, as well as hints of metal, leading to a dry fruity finish. fonefan (52351) - VestJylland, DENMARK - FEB 28, 2011
