Aroma is strong and malty with a sour, yeasty overtone. It pours a beautiful clear coppery orange-brown with a fairly thick and fluffy, if not too persistent, off-white head. Sharp, malty flavor has tones of caramel and apple and just a touch of honey sweetness. Texture is fairly edgy and has just a little fizz to it. Pours a hazy deeper brownish amber with a medium bubbly white lacing heard. ARoma of dark fruits, brown sugar, Belgian yeast and caramel, some noble hops. Flavor of teh same, seemed to have an almost holiday spice going on. jcwattsrugger (12420) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - JUL 3, 2011
Thanks decaturstevo for sharing-22oz bottle-pours a retaining tan head and hazy /cloudy orange/brown color. Aroma is peach, musty medium malt-caramel/bready. Taste is peach/apricot, musty medium malt-caramel/bready, secondary spice, some raisin. Plenty of effervescence. decaturstevo (6244) - decatur, Tennessee, USA - JUL 31, 2011
Slighty hazed orange pour. Light brown sugar and Belgian yeastiness. Brown sugar and sour malt. Medium bodied with good carbonation. Nice beer. GTAEgeek (2217) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - AUG 14, 2010
Tasted a 22 oz. bottle with a friend. Pours a very dark gold color, much darker than your average dubbel, with almost no head at all. The aroma is roasted malts, caramel, toffee, and notes of cherries, dates, and pepper. The flavor is very sweet with some spiciness and a short bitter finish. The body is thin, but leaves a sticky mouthfeel. Overall, a very dark and strong dubbel, and very tasty.

(22oz bomber #2249/6163 thanks to bu11zeye) clear amber, lasting film of fine tan bubbles. Nose of candi sugar, cream, alcohol, raisins. Taste of raisin, cream, light spices, Belgian yeast and caramel. Apparently I liked this more than most. Chudwick (3207) - Taylor Mill, Kentucky, USA - AUG 3, 2013
Bomber - murky orange amber with offwhite head. Vinous and caramel. Big body and light alcohol bite. Interesting. beernovice39 (3270) - Idaho, USA - JUL 31, 2010
Bomber pours murky amber/orange with thin off white head. Scent is fruit basket. Taste is fruits, molasses and apricot and white raisins. Not my thing but it is enjoyable and the wife loves it. FSUScott (112) - Rome, Georgia, USA - AUG 6, 2010
