“With its golden hue and gentle complexity, the Terrapin Golden Ale brings refreshing to a whole new level. Its combination of flavor, smoothness and drinkability is difficult to find in most craft beers. Sometimes even hopheads like us want nothing more than to enjoy a beer that is crisp, smooth and refreshing. That is why we created the perfect session beer - the Terrapin Golden Ale.”

Bottle. Light yellow with a light head. Super grainy aroma. Grainy but sweet.

Bottle. Golden in color with white head. Aroma of vanilla and hops. Flavor of hops, vanilla and lemongrass. Not a great beer.

Draught. This is one of my least favorite Terrapin beers to date. It has an off plasticy taste that i hope is from bad lines.

Draft. Hazy golden color, medium white head. Aroma of vanilla, grass, light citrus. Taste is lemongrass, more vanilla. Easy drinking.

maekchu (3944) - Hirakata, JAPAN - AUG 18, 2013
Bottle. Yeast, light lemon, and slight Belgian note in the aroma. Pale yellow, one-finger somewhat rocky head. Mild fruity initial, light peach and lemonade / some timid bitterness in mid / finishes clean and a bit flat. Thin-medium body. Not so bad. Restrained all around. A pleasant sessionable brew, but I’d switch to something else rather than have another.

Bottle. Pours mostly clear golden yellow. Aroma is yeasty and musty. Taste is slightly sweet balanced with light hops. Mouthfeel is creamy. Carbonation is moderate. I didn’t really care for this one.

Pours a nice golden color. Thin head, slight bready nose. Light citrus flavors, tastes pretty much like a pilsner.

jbrana (640) - NASHVILLE, Tennessee, USA - MAY 12, 2013
Tastes slightly skunky and yeasty with a slight biscuity malt flavor. Nothing interesting and not very good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 oz bottle. Pours a golden color with a thin white head. Aroma of vanilla, hay, and bread malts. Nose reminds me of sugar cookies. Taste is of hay, vanilla, and earthy malts. Very crisp and refreshing. Definitely a good session beer, but nothing too exciting. Happy Birthday to me :-/
