One of the best, most user friendly IPAs on the market. Great hop character with a decadent malted balance. Deep amber with no haze. Good amount of lacing after the off white head dissipates. Floral notes, juniper, and pine, but not overwhelming. Well done IPA for beginner and experienced hop heads everywhere. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Not as 100% hop forward as I expected. Hop flavor is somewhat basic and straight forward. Piney, bitter with some caramel and malty flavors coming through. No dank earthy hops present. Okay beer but falls short of its Hopsecutioner moniker. .

Pours a slightly hazy golden-orange color with a small off white head. The aroma is hoppy with lots of citrus juice. I pick up the pine, pineapple, very floral hops. The taste is quite bitter as to be expected. There is some citrusy hop bite with a breadiness on the finish.

355 ml can at home thanks to Glen! Clear golden orange color with white to off white head. Hoppy and malty aroma, pine, citrusy fruity, caramel, bread. Sweet and bitter taste like aroma. Medium oily body with soft carbonation.

On tap at Pazzos. Aroma of citrus and piny hops with some caramel malt underneath. Not nearly as hop heavy as I expected.

Bottle. Orangey Gold in colour. Good lacing. Very Fruity; orange citrus, pineapple. Very Hoppy; piney resinous and floral hops; not aggressive. Malty; toasty malts, caramel. Good fruit/hop/malt balance. Mildly sweetish fruity hoppy throughout. Perhaps the hops had mellowed out - beyond Best Before date. Very drinkable. Decent. (2014-12-04)

Type: 12-oz. draft Glass: Clear goblet From: Vortex Midtown in Atlanta, Ga. Price: $6 Purchased: Dec. 7, 2016 Consumed: Dec. 7, 2016 Reviewed as: American IPA Misc.: N/A First time trying Terrapin as well. I believe they recently became #CraftAdjace as well, but I wont hold that against them here. The name of this one sounds cool. Hope it tastes as good. Poured a deep gold clear color with 1-to-2 fingers of off-white frothy head when I got it. It was dark at Vortex, but there appeared to be a lot of bubble streams coming up from the bottom of the glass. Very good lacing. Outstanding retention. (Sight - 4.00) Smelled Cascade, soapy pine, floral, Irish Spring soap, light tangerine, Citra and caramel. (Smell - 3.50) Tasted Cascade, soapy pine, Irish Spring, floral, potpourri, caramel, lots of hops that really dont work well together, passion fruit, mango and tropical notes. (Taste - 3.25) Light body, Oily texture, Average carbonation. Dry, bitter finish. (Feel - 3.75) This was an OK beer overall. Nothing special though. (Overall - 3.50) 3.46 79 B-

Clear golden amber from a can. Tannish head with some lacing. I dont get the citrus/floral others report. I get hop forward bitter pine, the hops are strong but rounded, not a sharp stab but a big thud. It is a hop experience, but a bouquet it is not.

On tap. Just what you would expect from the name, a big old hop slap, nothing too crazy.
