Had this on cask at the Metropolis Taco Mac the other day, and absolutely loved it. It poured deep amber with minimal head. It had a complex combination of hops that I enjoyed. This has been the first Terrapin IPA that I had tried, but probably my favorite that I have had over the past year. krsna7 (3) - marrero, Louisiana, USA - APR 10, 2014 does not count
Great IPA, floral and piney notes and a great after taste. One of my favorite beers.

Admitted, you have to be a hophead to enjoy, however this is hands down the best heavy beer currently on the market - LOVE it! DKing2706 (16) - - JAN 19, 2015
This beer is great when it's great. Check your bottle date if buying a six pack. Sometimes presents serious oxidized flavors. When you get this on tap it's a fantastic well balanced IPA that border lines on a double or low end imperial.
Hop aromas come through great and the flavors of hops and malts balance out well. This is an excellent well balanced beer that's extremely drinkable.
Medium body, thin head after settling, refreshing, not too dry or malty. Wouldn't expect the ABV rating, there's no heat from alcohol. This is Terrapins best beer next to RYE and High five SPDickerman (1239) - Texas, USA - OCT 9, 2011
Pours clear golden amber with a fluffy white head. Smells like big floral and resin hops. Tastes primarily of hop bitterness with some malt sweetness underneath. Medium-bodied with a smooth texture and average mouth-carbonation, Terrapin Hopsecutioner finishes with some lingering bitterness.

lucent coper, thin beige head, sticky medium-full body, medium-high co2.IAmTheBeerKing (14) - Cherokee, North Carolina, USA - DEC 17, 2011
aroma: resiny citrus hops, caramel malt, combo reminds br of orange blossom honey.
taste: lots of sweet caramel malt, lots of citrusy floral hops, a hint of alcohol warmth in the finish.
very nicely balanced with the hop profile heavy on late additions and dry hoping. very nice quaffable beer, i’ll even disregard the abv and say sessional.
If you’re looking for a beer with a LOT of HOPS and a smooth finish, then this is a must try! Might be one of my favorite beers (lol for right now anyway!).
Likes - the clarity of the beer, the taste, the hops, smooth finish, gives your mouth a variety to think about
Dislikes - None, great IPA

Orange, hazy body with almost no head. Bright, clean, summery aroma. Big flowery hops and very slight roasted malt notes. Bitterness not overwhelming. Davhgbrew (948) - Seattle, Washington, USA - SEP 17, 2013
Had off tap at.wob...holy hoppy! & in a nicely balanced way. Beautiful looking cloudy orange and lasting head. Hops are perfectly balanced in this brew! Slightly bitter and citrusy. Not overly hoppy in my opinion. Full body throughout. Awesome brew! obguthr (6358) - Staunton, Virginia, USA - JAN 3, 2010
Sublime aroma of tangerine and thistle. Clear amber, medium white head, good lacing. Richly hopped thistle flavor with pefectly harmonious pine accents. Lemon zest finish. Thinnish mouthfeel. One of the best IPAs in America. Absolutely exquisite! This MUST be a year round brew for Terrapin.
