Darkest brown with a tan, lacey ringed head. Whumps of enveloping chocholate, gristley cocoa and a very smooth almost marshmallow dipped dustiness. Rich chocolate continues with smooth milkiness soothing things a little too much. Slips away a malty finish without any impact Id hoped for. All up front.

Bottle, Gunnar Tasting, Summer Secret Santa

Tasted on draft at the 2012 East Nashville Beer Festival. Pours a nearly black dark brown with an average brown head that slowly recedes to average lace. The nose is full of roasted dark chocolate malt, cocoa nibs, and plenty of vanilla sweetness. The flavor is fairly sweet, with plenty of lactose and roasted milk and dark chocolate malt. The body is full and creamy with light, smooth carbonation, and a long lightly bitter roasted and milk chocolate finish.

Wow, tastes just like chocolate milk. On the sweeter side. Excellent beer but not on a humid 90* summer day.

Im getting a roasted milk chocolate aroma, smooth and creamy lactose is definitely nice here. Lots of milk chocolate some coffee presence. Great lacing and just perfectly carbonated. Great cocoa sweet stout beer. This is a must have beer....

Bottle. Wood ash and milk chocolate aroma. Dark black with moderate tan head. Very sweet chocolate malt and light bitter herbal flavor. Seemed a bit too sweet initially but smoothed out as it warmed. Definitely one to drink at cellar temp.

Bottle. Dark color. Hints of vanilla and chocolate and expresso. Rich aroma and goes down smooth. Excellent vanilla and coffee aftertaste. A great Georgia beer.
