Dark beer with a thin beige head. Nose of milk chocolate and vanilla. Odd slick but soft mouth feel. Lots of lactic acid, milk chocolate, artificial vanilla and some roasted grains in the back. There is a hint of green bitterness in the finish with a lasting artificial chocolate taste.

Looks good; a dull and fairly opaque dark cola with fluffy beige head that steadily dissipates into lacing. Smells solid; dark malt and chocolate. Tastes like it smells with a nice, smooth lactose mouthfeel. A good example of the style.

Bottle, 08/16/2013. Pours black, medium light tan head rests pillowy on the liquid surface. Aroma is raisin, powdered milk, sweet caramel, milk chocolate candy, mild roast. Taste is sweet chocolate and caramel, vanilla, mild toasted overtones. Medium body. For me quite sweet and artificial like mass produced Easter candy- but even there is some nostalgic satisfaction.

12 oz. bottle from Growlers. Pours a very dark brown to black color with a medium sized beige head. The aroma and flavor have light roast, creamy milk chocolate, powdered cocoa with just a mild bitterness to the finish. Overall, sweet, smooth mouth feel, very drinkable, at 6% you could drink a few of these.

Such a a great beer. Poured silky black with a creamy brown head. Aroma of chocolate, caramel, and milk. Almost like chocolate milk. Flavor of chocolate dance throughout in this. Some nutty and sweet caramel flavor. So smooth.

From a 12oz bottle. Pours black with a moderately retained light tan head. Smells of chocolate and mild vanilla. Has medium carbonation. Aroma is very slight. Taste is of chocolate and malt and of vanilla. Essentially no burnt sugar or espresso flavors. Very mild. Very thin mouthfeel. A decent but not great beer. Was expecting more. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle pours opaque black with foamy tan head. Chocolate, soy sauce, molasses, roast. Moderately sweet. Mild bitterness. Oily, smooth body is surprising thin.

A black beer with a frothy brown head. The aroma is chocolate, vanilla, and milk sugar. The flavor is chocolate, milk sugar, and kind of metallic.
