Has some decent chocolate and some sweet vanilla like notes. Taste is some decent chocolate and a bit of roast, little bit of a light body.

very nice and smooth beer to drink, as most milk stouts are. This has heavy upfront chocolate and silky smooth taste, a little heavier than most milk stouts, but still very good. I would highly recommend this and the Left Hand Nitro Milk Stout. Both this, and the nitro stout, are the best two milk stouts in my opinion. magsinva (1250) - Virginia, USA - JAN 12, 2013
Bottle from wine warehouse - pours dark with a thick dark chocolate head. Aroma is big malty chocolate. Taste is sweetish, but the palate is more astringent then I was expecting. Overall, solid. Fritz123 (1535) - Boca Raton, Florida, USA - JAN 9, 2013
Wow! I heard it was good but I finally got to try it myself. Pours a jet black with slight head. Nice lace. The aroma is of chocolate, cocoa, spices, etc. It smells like the holidays. It has a mild, but defined chocolate taste immediately and finishes with all kinds of flavors of malt, chocolate, and maybe nutmeg. Very good and I will have another thank you. tastybeer (1853) - Indiana, USA - JAN 8, 2013
Bottle. Pour is black with a tan head, good retention/lace. Aroma of milk chocolate, chocolate drink, lactose, light roast. Taste is chocolate drink, latte, vanilla. Palate is soft, creamy, a bit thin, sweet finish. Good.

Poured from tap. Hint of chocolates aroma and roasted coffee taste. Superb palate experience. A step above Left Hand Milk Stout. Cheers! ganache (5896) - New Jersey, USA - JAN 1, 2013
Bottle. Oily dark chocolate nose somewhere between ’viscous’ and ’sultry’, pleasant dark roast and bouncy malt but it’s really all about the cocoa nibs. Pitch pour with a light brown head. Not too crisp, medium-full body, mild roast with strong chocolate/cocoa nibs, lightly acidic but not really any bitterness, light sweetness not overpowering. Passing grade but unspectacular. badwhale (420) - Bitterville, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 30, 2012
Bottle to glass mug. Pours an opaque dark brown with a sparse tan head. You can smell semisweet chocolate, and malts. Flavors of malts, and cocoa. Very sweet. Leaves a residual oily mouthfeel with a bit of bitter tang. Chalsk (1104) - North Caldwell, New Jersey, USA - DEC 29, 2012
On the (my) Tenth Day of Christmas, the beer gods gave to me... Well a little late here due to a bad bout of the flu. Took out most of the house. But we carry on. Pours a dark brown color with a tan foam head. Aroma of roast, vanilla, and hints of chocolate. Has a light sweet caramel taste with roast and chocolate notes. Tasty. Solid milk stout. Pours a very dark brown with a medium-sized head. Very delicious - you can definitely taste the chocolate. Some coffee and nut notes as well. Slightly smoky aroma.
