Bottle. Pours an extremely dark brown with a moderate off-white head. Nose has tinges of sweet in there, but mostly some unsweetened chocolate. Taste is actually a tad sweet with some great chocolaty goodness in there. Very easy to drink. BeerFlavoredBeer (260) - New Hampshire, USA - NOV 16, 2012
A mild chocolate stout with some interesting flavors. Not overpowering and not very sweet. Would pair with most stout-friendly foods, as opposed to much sweeter chocolate stouts that should be considered purely after-meal desserts. italianjohn (3277) - Penndel, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 14, 2012
Black pour tan thin head .... aroma of cocoa nibs and light lactose ... taste of sweet cocoa, lactose, sweet semisweet chocolate and lightly roasted with a bitter chalky flavor .... not too intense flavor wise but it has a nice bitter sweet cocoa finish and nice dark chocolate flavors Shag (3047) - Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA - NOV 3, 2012
Pitch black with a small tan head. Aroma contains some chocolate and vanilla. Flavor is rather sweet with some vanilla, milk, dark chocolate. Some coffee bitter notes as well. Finish is bittersweet overall good beer. arrogantb (1402) - Denver, Colorado, USA - NOV 3, 2012
Thanks to Bulbman for sending me this recently out of the blue. Nice black color, smells like a bit of chocolate, rich. the taste is strong dark chocolate flavor. This is pretty good and very heavy on the chocolate flavor almost one dimensional but still good. I probably could not drink a six pack of these but one bottle went down no problem.

Bottle courtesy of markwise from the fourth Local Beer Swap. Thanks Mark. Pours a dark black with a medium to large dense dark tan head that deflates steadily. Sweet cocoa, chocolate, lots of roast on the malt with a thick vanilla backbone. Medium bodied, sweet coffee and chocolate, lots of cocoa and sweet vanilla. Chewy vanilla and chocolate, cocoa. Very tasty, easy drinking, super smooth, roast and cocoa. Very nice stuff. Tinco (621) - Linköping, SWEDEN - OCT 21, 2012
Pours a black liquid. Nice small mocha head. Aroma is, chocolate, roasted malts, sweetness, almost a bit sour?. Taste issweet milk chocolate, roasted coffee with milk in it. Chocolate milk. Smooth and drinkable. Nice one! timfoolery (1126) - California, USA - OCT 14, 2012
Bottle from Justin. Aroma and flavor of Nesquik and milk stout with a nice amount of carbonation. I could drink this stuff all day, but I only got the one bottle. Much more tame than Wake-n-Bake, but very good beer in its own right.

12 oz. bottle served in a CBS snifter. 2011 seasonal. Big thanks to Holland(Eric) for the extra! youdictategood (467) - Florida, USA - OCT 12, 2012
A: Pours a solid black with a very thin tan colored head forming on the pour. It dissipates quickly leaving a very thin collar.
S: The smell is mostly consistent of milk chocolate, some brown sugar, and a light toasted malt. Fairly straight forward for the style.
T: The taste is mainly a grainy dark malt and milk chocolate up front, very sugary. There is a milk dud like quality to it, but overall it is very sweet.
M: The mouthfeel is thin to medium and just has a sugary sweetness that stays with the palate for a little while.
O: Milk stouts of all kinds just aren’t for me. They are too thin and sweet for the stout style IMO and I just really do not like the characteristics they bring to the table. The beer wasn’t bad, but it’s just not my cup of tea.

Pours translucent black. Aroma is chocolate and not much else. Taste is something else, though. The chocolate/roast is just about perfect for the style - really full flavor without being overpoweringly sweet, and the finish has a decent bite of alcohol. Great beer.
