Bottle. The pour was a deep dark black with an average sized (1-2 finger) light brown creamy head that dissipated quickly leaving just a little residue around the edges of the glass, which produced some fair lacing.
The aroma was of a roasted chocolate malt and a sweet moldy yeast with notes of milk chocolate, coffee, a bit of toffee and lactose sugar.
The taste was malty sweet with notes of milk chocolate and toffee from the onset with the finish having a coffee and cream flavor to it. The flavor lasted an average amount of time after the swallow with a nice milky creaminess left at the end.
Mouthfeel was just a bit under full in body with the texture being smooth and creamy and having a subtly soft carbonation.
Overall a silky sweet creamy brew that sits extremely well on the taste buds.
On tap at a local sports bar. Served in a pint glass. Absolutely no head whatsoever. I don't know if this was because the glass was yucky, the person pulling the tap was new, or it's just the way the beer is. The nose was ok, and the mouthfeel was right on point, and the initial taste was fine, but....way too much lactose for my taste. Yes,, yes, I know, milk stouts are supposed to be on the sweet side, but this one was much to sweet for my taste. Poobah (479) - New Orleans, Louisiana, USA - NOV 25, 2017
Black with a tan head and a malty, chocolate nose. Malty and mildly-carbonated with a dry, milk chocolate finish. PatsyC (1) - - NOV 14, 2017 does not count

Can from Craft Brewed. Pours a syrupy, deep brown with a finger of beige foam that dissipates quickly. Big yoo hoo nose with whoppers, milk shake notes. When cold there are some strange copper penny notes on the palate but as it warms this goes away. Smooth on the palate, lots of cocoa powder. Lots of yoo-hoo flavor and a lingering hershey's syrup finish. weitz15 (622) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - OCT 28, 2017
Rich, thick dark brown pour. Thin white head. Flavor is a little lighter than we would prefer, more toffee than expected, but the chocolate is there.

Bottle 33 cl. Black with a little light brown head. Lots of chocolate aroma and some vanilla sense. Sweet taste, light bitterness with a nice chocolate end. SvanteL (651) - SWEDEN - JUL 18, 2017
Aroma Cocoa, milk chocolate, earthy, mildly herbal
Taste Very sweet, no bitterness
Palate Medium-full body, mild carbonation
Flaske. Sortbrun øl med fint skumhoved. Duften er sødlig kaffe chokolade. Smagen er en kende metallisk hvilket trækker ned. Ellers fin øl.
