12 oz can. Pours slightly opaque golden in color. Aroma of citrus, grain, hint of pine. Flavor of citrus, pine, grain. Bacchus66 (773) - South Carolina, USA - JUL 6, 2017
12oz can. Pours lightly hazed golden-orange with a thin off-white head. Nose is tropical fruits with some grassy hops. Flavors are more citrus-centric with hops and some light sweetness. Light bodied, but crisp and balanced. Really nice session IPA, something you could drink pretty much drink all day and not be worse for the wear. UXO (1896) - CANADA - MAY 24, 2017
Appearance: clear pale gold with one fat finger of rocky white head diminishing rapidly to a thin skim, patchy lacing. (3/5) Aroma: grapefruit, pine, biscuity pale malt, earth, garlic, hint of coffee. (6/10) Taste: moderate sweet, moderate bitter. (7/10) Palate: light body, moderate carbonation, crisp lightly bitter finish. (3/5)
“RecreationAle,” huh? What d’ya get when you move up to a stronger brew? “ProfessionAle” or MedicinAle”?. This… is odd. It starts off brightly hoppy, with lots of citrus and pine, but that fades rapidly, leaving behind earth, onion and garlic, and most puzzling of all, a hint of coffee. I first rated the aroma as an 8, but by the time I was done, it was a 4 or 5 - so, split the difference and call it a 6. Everything else was more consistent. It’s not bad, it’s just very, very strange how the hop character changes (dissipates, I guess) so rapidly. This continues to be a slightly tricky style to get right. (13/20)

Can from a friend. Pours an orange-yellow with a white head. Nose is sweet malt, some light citrusy hops, and some dryness on the back end. Flavor hits with some caramel in the malt character and nice citrusy hops. Not my favorite, but for a session IPA, it’s definitely up there with what it can do: lots of malt and a nice dose of hops for session IPA. Cavie (4760) - Arlington, Texas, USA - MAR 20, 2017
Can. Clear light orange gold color. Slight haze. Aroma is pretty hoppy, lighter malt backbone. Some floral hop notes, hand soap. Hop forward flavor, citrus fruity. Dry finish and lingering bitterness. Orange pith. Piw (1193) - Rüsselsheim, GERMANY - MAR 17, 2017
