Hazy golden with a thick white head. Aroma is grapefruit hops with some floral notes. Flavor is assertively bitter and oddly a little flat. Somewhat tinny, but not unpleasant. Oddly, though not surprisingly based on the idea behind this beer, I enjoyed this more in the can while grilling rather than inside poured in a glass. I think it loses too much carbonation and gets a little bitter. Wife: 3.1

Can to pint glass. Stamped 3/1/17 so assumed 3,1/2 months old. A: Poured a nice pillowy beige head of 1/2" which held for a few minutes and never completely dissipated. Pale clear pinkish gold with a few bubbles and spotty lace. S: Pine and faint orange over a background of honeysuckle or caramel. T: Bitter and woody at first with pine then a hint of orange pith and zest finishing. No flavor especially dominant. M: Feels even lighter than 4.7 with soft but crisp carbonation and slightly resinous finish. O: Another pretty nice SIPA. Well balanced taste and sensible price. Not outstanding but well worth a buy.

Hazy/clear yellow, frothy white head, fine lacing. A bit metallic and thin on the palate. Not much complexity, weird finish. I expected more from this fine brewer. 12oz can from Total Wine and More, Boca Raton, Florida

Hops smell, 60/40 pepper/flower...taste is peppery at first but more sips has that fade and flowery hops come out...smooth and flavorful...just the right boldness...turns more watery with time

Bottle @cgarvieuk. April Not So Fools Tasting 2014 [Rating Backlog April 2014] Pours golden with a big white head. Nose is blandish some cooked vegetables. Taste is slight vegetables again, but with a toffee and sweet orange finish.

473ml can. From the cooler at hop city, well within its best by. Pours a clear gold with a white head. Aroma is floral and intense orange. Flavor is spicy and herbal, orange, acidic bitter finish, malt flavor but no malt sweetness. Okay i guess.

DATE: September 10, 2016... OCCASION: Penn State/Pitt--the rivalry renewed!... GLASSWARE: Kisatsky Tavern pint... first, one notices the cascade of gigantic bubbles swirling in a lively golden amber body--active and fresh... second, the head is white as snow and pillowy, with some chunky crags and thick lacing... strong pine and resin mingles with soft orange citrus... light bread malts do not interfere with the sessions intentions... still, what a bouquet for such a low-alcohol IPA... refreshing, lightly present on the teeth and more present at the throat... in fact, maltier in its palate than expected... smooth, almost buttery as well... beyond the aforementioned flavors, a pervasive sweetness balances the soft resin... some metallic hints that create a slight detraction from the profile... as sessions go, refreshing and engaging...
