Tap. Pours clear yellow/gold with thin, creamy, white head. Aroma is biscuit and cereal malts, grassy notes, light fruit, and hay. Flavor is dry malts, light fruit esters, and faint hop bitterness; crisp, dry finish. Light body and medium carbonation. Cybercat (5738) - Georgia, USA - MAY 16, 2013
Comes out of the growler a very pale yellow - not impressive, but I like my beers dark, and since the ivory head is quite fluffy and thick I’ll give it a break. Wheaty aroma has subtle yeast and fruity notes. Crisp flavor is rather like a typical lager, but with more yeast and apple and just a touch of hops. Firm, smooth texture has a decent, if not impressive, amount of fizz. Hey, always glad to support a good cause, especially with beer! :D snoworsummer (5614) - baltimore, Maryland, USA - JUN 18, 2013

Draught at Capone’s: Aroma of fruit, wheat, malt, grain, and a hint of hops. Poured yellow/gold in color with a small, creamy, dense head that greatly diminished but lasted throughout as a film on top of the beer. Clear. Very slightly sparkling. Flavor is lightly sweet. Tastes of fruit, malt, and grain. Light to medium body. Slightly dry texture. Average carbonation. Lightly dry, lightly sweet, malt, fruit, grain finish. A kolsch??? 16 ounce pint - $5.50 at Taco Mac in Kennesaw, Georgia.
Appearance: Served up a translucent, medium yellow-hued body with a very slim, powder white head. Good lacing.
Smell: A bit weak in the aromatics department, with just light notes of pale malted grain, sweetish cereal hints, and a little accent of spicy-minded hops.
Taste: Slender pale maltiness, a little hint of wheat and an overall cereal sweetness. Never more than a very faint fruitiness. Minor spiciness contributed by the hops, its soft bitterness is accentuated by the carbonation. Near dry finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-thin body. Medium carbonation.
Overall: It’s a decent American-born Kolsch.
