bomber from springslicker. I might have had too high of expectations based on wnb.. ok porter in the end. good aroma of cocoa, hot chocolate, - not much coffee to me. thin on palate. taste not as good as aroma - easy drinker but just lack of any quality that stands out magsinva (1493) - Virginia, USA - MAY 24, 2014
Bottle from Brusin Ales - pours pitch with a tan head, some lacing. Has a soft chocolatey thing happening. Leans watery dry on the finish. Overall, meh. DiarmaidBHK (6137) - Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 24, 2014
Bottle from Brusin’ Ales. Pours black with a half inch khaki head. Leaves a lot of lacing in the glass. Some solid cocoa on the nose. Very soft and soapy mouthfeel. Dry and dusty on the tongue. Finishes clean. Eh! Damico (3146) - Royersford, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 25, 2014
Pours thick dark unclear brownish dark chocolate with a creamy tan head. Aroma is a melted Hershey bar, lightly sweetened clean chocolate. Flavor is similar, cocoa bring the most prevalent with some smooth lightly roasted malts. HonusWagner (2248) - Florida, USA - APR 18, 2014
UPDATED: APR 20, 2014 Pretty much just tastes like cocoa powder with little else going on. Pretty bitter. Maybe the initial 22oz bottling was better than the new version, or maybe it’s just another Terrapin beer that I cannot get excited about.

Sampled at esbls. Opaque dark brown with a beige lauer. I tasye and smell cocoa but it is different from usual. This is spicier. Dry bitterness and a fairly thin feel. Not a fan. pcstuck (64) - Illinois, USA - MAR 2, 2014
Very faint chocolate aroma. Taste is slight bitter chocolate and roast. Dry bitter finish. Weezel (280) - Florida, USA - FEB 6, 2014
Aroma is faint chocolate with some malt and sharp hops. Very carbonated with a beige lasting head. Taste is bitter up front leading into good chocolate flavor and some hop bitterness to finish. Mouthfeel is solid. Expected more from this. tcane7 (1674) - Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 2, 2014
Bottle with some friends. Pours black with thin diminishing tan head. Notes of milk chocolate, roast. Watery scottw86 (1179) - Maryland, USA - FEB 1, 2014
Poured a very dark brown almost black with a medium sized light tan head. Aroma is like chocolate milk with nuts. Taste is very sweet and chocolatey. A little thin, but nutty and sweet. Aftertaste is a little dry with roasted malts. Overall it is flavorful, but the balance is a little off.
