Bottle. Pours dark black with tan head. Smells of coffee and dark chocolate. Taste of chocolate, coffee and an aftertaste of peanut butter. Decent beer. AdamT (268) - North Carolina, USA - DEC 19, 2013
22oz bottle from Total Wine in Raleigh. Dark brown (almost black) hue, fizzy caramel mostly lasting head. Moderate chocolate and malt on the nose. Light malt & coffee on the initial taste with a light chocolate finish. Much better then Moo-Hoo wisdomsolo (466) - St Petersburg, Florida, USA - DEC 2, 2013
Aroma is heavenly chocolatey. The flavor is toasty and cocoa-ie. Its bubbly on the tongue. jbruner (5121) - Marietta, Georgia, USA - NOV 27, 2013
Pours a deep brownish black on tap with fluffy tan head that leaves great lace. Aroma is strong chocolate, sweet and roasty. Taste follows, kits of chocolate, slight soy, thinner than the moo hoo. Very nice. Stldsf1 (616) - Florida, USA - NOV 11, 2013
Very nice porter. Not quite as good as moo hoo but still a pretty a dang good chocolate brew.

Bottle shared by Simon with Fantasia and I. Poured blackish brown with thin head. Notes of Hershey kisses, roasted malt, vasnilla extract cheap chocolate candy and malt. Medium bodided with an non-sticky palate. I like the moo hoo better guyzz. decaturstevo (6343) - decatur, Tennessee, USA - NOV 1, 2013
Black pour with tan head and lace. Aroma is chocolate and lite coffee. Flavor mirrors aroma with nice malty bitter finish. Full bodied and smooth. pretty nice bubbleflubber (2235) - Swannanoa, North Carolina, USA - OCT 25, 2013
Pours the deepest mahogany into the glass with a wispy head that leaves little lace. The nose is of chocolates, light roasts and dark vinous notes. Flavors are similar, dark chocolates and roasts, dark esters, with a milk chocolate mouthfeel and slick palate. Medium-light body. DialSquare (5119) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - OCT 18, 2013
Bomber from Proof... I think. Dark brown pour with thin tan head. Aroma is chocolate, roasty malt, dark fruit. Tastes are cocoa, toasted malt, chocolate milk vibe. Kind of thin and one dimensional. Not for me. changeup45 (1731) - Lake Mary, Florida, USA - OCT 18, 2013
I missed this when it was a Side Project so I guess I’m glad to get another shot at it. Deep brown, almost black color, with a small tan head. The aroma has chocolaty notes, toasted grain, and barley. Pretty straightforward. No surprise, the flavors get kicked off with plenty of chocolate notes. Some zippy, active carbonation tickles the palate with mild day old coffee entering the mix. There’s nutty notes present giving the whole thing a roasty chocolate covered nut taste. Borderline thin; could maybe use more body. Much better; more chocolaty and slick as it warms. Gets a touch fuller too although I still would like to see a more silky, creamy body to this. Overall probably just decent but certainly one to check out if given the chance.
