Aroma: The nose is spice and yeast, tart notes, fruit, and a bit of hop as well
Appearance: Pours a really nice clear orange color with a clean, frothy white head and heavy lace
Flavor: The flavor leans toward the Belgiany side, yeasty, some spice, a bit tart, and lightly bitter
Palate: The body is medium, it has a smooth, creamy mouthfeel, and a tart/light dry finish
Really nice looking beer, and pretty tasty too.
I felt that Belgiany and farmhouse flavors were more dominant in this one than the IPA flavors were, but I liked it.
Nice addition with the spice and oak aging as well.
bomber from springslicker in trade. not an ipa bottle states white farmhouse ipa so a kinda saison ipa?? that is the best way to describe this - some fruit and yeast in aroma. taste is a comb of saison and ipa - different brew; drinkable. MartinT (10014) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - JAN 13, 2014
My Bottom Line:bhensonb (15500) - Woodland, California, USA - JAN 12, 2014
Camomile, tansy, oak and pink grapefruit notes all explode from this brew’s dry and effervescent mouthfeel, drawing a perfumy profile onto delicately honeyed cereals.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A mountain of foam is quickly reduced to a veil on top of the translucent gold.
-The nose and flavour profile are both evocative.
-The yeast character, hops and spicing are all very harmonious.
-The high level of intensity of all flavours decreases drinkability (despite the efforts of the dryness and forceful carbonation).
-This would be wonderful with baklavas.
Bomber from Knightly in Orlando, FL. Pours hazy gold with a foamy white head. Aroma is lightly suggestive of sour peach. And fruity hop. Med body. Flavor has yeast spice - clove? - quite Belgian and quite fruity hoppy. Seems a bit complicated, but it’s a good drink. MadRobin (2988) - Silver Spring, Maryland, USA - DEC 29, 2013
Poured from 22 oz. bottle.
Clear, golden amber with a large off-white head and excellent lacing.
Aroma of lemon, grass, herbs and orange.
Taste of bitter herbal hops, lemon, pale malt, pepper, yeast, pineapple and sage. The fruit, bitterness and malt alternate taking the lead in a complex interplay.
Medium/light body and medium/high carbonation with an interesting mouthfeel.

Draft. Pours golden orange with a white head. Belgian characteristics dominate, with spicy yeasty notes, peachy and flowery notes, and just a hint of citric bitterness. A bit of a mess, but still enjoyable. Also, this is not an IPA. MrChopin (4304) - Baltimore, Maryland, USA - DEC 22, 2013
hazy gold, oily white ring. Heavy orange soda nose, srsly slice, singular and sweet. Heavily carbonated sugar bomb, lightly old with hints of cardboard oxidation. A heavy mouthed mess, too sweet and carbonated for ANY nuance. kidobutai (696) - Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA - DEC 21, 2013
Great combination of fruit and is a bitterness. Apricot aroma makes this an iconic ipa. Smooth and creamy. nasmith003 (252) - Virginia, USA - DEC 21, 2013
Slightly sour apricot aroma with a pale golden color. Sour taste with some malty backbone. Hop snap at the end. ajax25g (76) - Washington DC, Washington, USA - DEC 14, 2013
22oz bottle. Really great hop character on this one, with floral notes combined with stone fruits (lots of peach). Also flavors of honey and coconut. Really nice.
