beerbill (3619) - Laurel, New York, USA - JAN 20, 2017
22 oz. bottle at Dave’s tasting. Pours a hazy brown that allows light to pass through with a thin tan head. Mild peppery aroma. The flavor is mild pepper with mild heat along with a touch of cocoa. The mild heat lingers beyond the swallow. Medium bodied.

juiceisloose (1492) - Windermere, Florida, USA - JAN 25, 2016
22 oz bottle. Pours a dark reddish brown color and topped by a small layer of beige colored foam that slowly settles to a thin film and leaving streaks of lace on the glass. The aroma shows notes of dark chocolate, fudge, hint of roast, some earthy, chili pepper spice and heat over a toasted caramel malt base. The flavor follows with the dark chocolate and fudgey malts up front giving a nice sweetness with the earthy chilli peppers add a nice level of spice and heat. Medium bodied and fairly smooth with balanced carbonation that leads to a sweet and spicy finish. The heat is subtle but increases gradually over the beer. Interesting beer overall, but not one I would visit often.

Bottle. It poured a brown color with a tan head. The aroma was of green chilis, some heat, coffee and some roastiness. The taste was of cocoa, green peppers, more coffee and some heat. Not too hot, just about right.

decaturstevo (6244) - decatur, Tennessee, USA - OCT 5, 2015
Brown pour with tan head and lace. Aroma is sweet chocolate and peppers. Flavor is sweet chocolate, brown sugar, spicy pepper, and light coffee notes. A bito malt bitter finish. Medium/full body with good carbonation. Not sure how this didn’t qualify as a fruit, spice, veg. Still a pretty solid beer. Not as much heat as I like but still solid

Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, peppery, warm, spicy, veggie - chocolate. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20140814]

22 oz bomber. Pours a soda brown with a very light tan head that leaves a fair bit of lacing. Aroma of chocolate, pepper, toasted bread, malts, and a hint of coffee. Taste is chili peppers up front with a chocolate brownie coming in behind it. Chocolate is a bit overpowered by the pepper. Picking up caramel and coffee a little as well. Big pepper burn on the backend. Full bodied, creamy texture, average carbonation. Very interesting and very good!

thome50 (1295) - Morro Bay via Orange County, California, USA - MAY 26, 2015
Bottle from a few months back. Chili beer! Pours a deep brown with light brown head. Aroma is vegetable forward chocolate sauce. Taste is milk chocolate, oxidized chili pepper. Nice but a little thin and lacking on any chili heat.
