Thanks to dickheadmgee for this one. Clear amber pour with a thin white head. Strong plastic hop aroma and flavor. Bitter pine finish. Eh.
Slutfest 6: Toffee, orange, and grain nose. Clear amber, medium yellow head. Tea, caramel, slightly vegetal. Medium body, soft carbonation. No hops but none expected given the age. Of the several cellared side project series beers sampled at Slutfest, this fared the worst, which is not surprising. I really hate myself for not having this fresh, because it was probably wonderful corby112 (2813) - philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 22, 2011
Pours dark and cloudy amber/orange color with a 1.5 finger frothy white head that slowly settles into a thin ring. Streaks of lacing left behind.
Smells more like a barleywine with some boozy sweetness and strong malt profile balancing out the citrus and piney hop notes.
Medium bodied with a good balance of sweet and bitter hops followed by a decent malt backbone and dry boozy finish. Hints of orange peel and dry pine needle countered by bicuit and caramel. Malt backbone provides balances without interfering with bitterness. Well balanced and quaffable but nothing out of the ordinary. Ungstrup (38414) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - MAR 4, 2011
Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of over ripe fruits. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, fruit, and dusty hops. fonefan (51109) - VestJylland, DENMARK - FEB 27, 2011

Unclear to hazy medium orange color with a small average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white grey head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, caramel, oxidide, light honey, moderate hoppy, orange - citrus, grapefruit notes. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long to average duration, dry, honey sweet. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
Bottle at Papsø’s - Thanks. Cloudy amber - white head. Ok hoppy.... old hoppy, honey, oxidation, cheese, knækbrød, sweetness, sharpness, pure american IPA - but too old !!!

22 fl oz bottle. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is soapy and citrusy. Citrusy, slight peachy and flat malty. Bitter, fruity and mild citrusy. Ends lingering fruity and slight malty. Papsoe (25056) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - FEB 23, 2011
Bottle 65 cl. Courtesy of sincereNC. Pours a cloudy and almost opaque amber with an off-white head. The nose has a little citrusy hops and an oxidized caramel touch. Medium body, sweet fruitiness, caramel and licorice allsorts. Clearly the hops have oxidized by now. The finish is not all that bitter. 230211
