22 oz. bottle via trade with smith4498 - Pours a hazy golden color with a 3/4 finger thick off white head. Very light spotty lacing. Aroma is pungent pine, floral, and citrus hops. Flavor is very hop forward with esters and lightly sweetened toasted malt. Finish is surprisingly smooth. Medium to full body. A very nice beer. Thanks Jason. Pours a hazy dull straw yellow with faint ring of white head. Nose of fresh clean citrus hops. Flavor is sweet honey and hops and a little vinous grapey quality. Very tasty. Awesome label and name though. Maybe the best of the side projects. phaleslu (10553) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - NOV 17, 2010
22 oz. bottle shared at The Royale’s Tuesday night beer showcase; I got one from both michael-pollack and smith4498- thanks, guys! Pours a cloudy gold color with a small white head. Aroma of grassy hops, straw, soap, tropical fruits, funk, and sour milk. Flavor of pale and sweet malts, earthy hops, sugar, straw, and nectar. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation and a mouthfeel that strikes a balance between bitter and sweet. I’m not sure if something happened to this bottle because other ratings look a lot different. It isn’t horrible but seemed off. decaturstevo (6343) - decatur, Tennessee, USA - NOV 15, 2010
Yellow pour with creamy white head and lace. Cat pee and medium malt aroma. Clovey like and minty, bread and spice. Medium body with smooth carbonation. 50belair (3680) - Florida, USA - NOV 14, 2010
Bottle. The name had so much potential, unfortunately the beer didn’t. A below average attempt at DIPA.

Pours a cloudy pale orange with about a fingers worth of white head. Strong aroma of citrus hops, grapefruit, oranges and some pineapple. Flavor is massive hops, with most pineapple and some pine and grapefruit as well. The hops are well balanced by the malt backbone. The alcohol becomes more apparent and in your face as the beer warms. A nice smooth start and middle with a bitter finish. A well rounded beer. Wish I bought more than one bottle. bottle from phaleslu- thanks PETER! initial impression is a nice, clean, well attenuated mango peach orange drink. nice fruit character. lightly boozey with a bright grassy grapefruit hop essence. decent balance. bit too much mango, but liked the bright clean hop character. nice beer! emacgee (4704) - Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA - OCT 29, 2010
UPDATED: APR 9, 2012 Pours a soft hazy yellow with one finger of frothy off white head. Nose is citrusy, with notes of pink grapefruit, orange flesh, and hints of pineapple. Interesting nose. Flavor is not as complex, spicy citrus rind hop character with some caramelly malt. Palate is a bit forward on the bitterness and seems a tad light on body. fear025 (213) - Downers Grove, Illinois, USA - OCT 28, 2010
Aroma:Sweet cotton candy and citrus (orange and grapefruit) hops in the nose.
Appearance:Cloudy pale orange in color. Nice white fluffy head, good retention.
Taste:Very hoppy and bitter in the foretaste. The hops are mostly just bitter grapefruit, with a little peach, and a little pine. Sweet malt backbone. Sweet nutty malt aftertaste.
Palate:Medium body, hot alcohol burn, a little hop astringency.
Overall:This one is another hop bomb, but the hops themselves don’t really stand out flavorwise. I do like it a lot better than some of the more pine-foward IIPAs out there. It is a little tough to get through a bottle by yourself, as this is more of a sipper IIPA.

Bomber from Whole Foods Market, Glen Allen, VA, opened 9/23/10. Pours a very hazy orange yellow color with a medium creamy white head. Good head retention and lacing. Aroma of citrus, earthy and tropical hops, with coconut and a hint of caramel. The taste is big hops, practically pineapple juice, along with citrus and tropical notes. Pale malts and a bit of a coconut vibe, again. Lingering bitterness. Medium-full bodied. Nice beer.
