Quick-take review on this one. Pours opaque, ultra-dark brown with a substaintial tan head. The aroma is subtle, but roasted peanuts are clearly evident. On the palate, youre first hit with mild chocolate and roastiness and its only on the finish that you taste the peanut butter. It sounded sort of gross when I first heard of it, but I was pleasantly surprised.

Chocolate, cacao, milk taste. Chocolate aftertaste. Fizzy mouthfeel, low bitterness. Chocolate milk scent. Clear deep red color, tan head.

Bottle. Very Dark Brown in colour. Slight head. Very Malty: lots of dark chocolate, roasty nuts, some roasty malts, toffee, hints of coffee. No discernible fruit or hop taste. Sweet chocolatey nutty malty throughout. Quite dry. Bit salty in the finish. Rather artificial in taste. Didnt like it. Not for me. Disappointing! (2014-12-09)

From a bottle. The peanut aroma and flavour is deliciously balanced, this is a perfect night cap beer.

12oz bottle, poured deep dark with brownish head. Peanuts and chocolate with medicinal aftertaste. Not a fan of artificial flavors.

Bottle from Total Wine, Tampa. Pours black with an off white head. Aroma of peanut butter, chocolate and vanilla, though not particularly appealing. Taste was too bitter. Medium+ body and slick texture, soft carbonation. I like chocolate, peanut butter, and porter. But for me the combo just didnt work.

12 oz. bottle. Pours an opaque black with a light tan head that dissipates very quickly. The Aroma is exquisite! Scents of chocolate and peanut butter are the main chords but there are undertones of banana and marshmallow too. Taste is medium sweet with flavors of peanut butter and chocolate, and not much else. But really, who could want more than that!! It has a full body with a smooth, creamy texture. Carbonation is average. And the finish? Well, its more of that fantastic peanut butter and chocolate, of course. Overall, this is a surprisingly great beer. I really wasnt expecting that much when I bought it, but I am happily surprised.

From bottle. Pours a very dark brown, clear with a small beige head. Aroma has lots of peanuts, nuts in general, peanut cookies, light chocolate, roasted malts, light caramel. Taste is rather sweet, nutty dry, light salty, tiny bitterness. Average carbonation and a pretty light body.

Aroma; melted chocolate ice with nuts n caramel. Look; diminishing pale beige head and black body. Taste; black chocolate ice cream n coffee, cocoa, nuts, apple peel, vanilla, plum, caramel - and smooth finish. Feel; dry, fine body. Overall; splendid stout! [33cl.btl abv6.1% BB? Dark brown almost opaque with a tan head that dissipates quickly. Aroma of fresh peanuts and peanut shells. The flavor follows the aroma. Tastes more like peanuts than peanut butter. OK if you like peanuts. The peanuts cover up the porter pretty well.
