In one word: incredible! This beer does something that I never thought would work. It brings all of the deliciousness of peanut butter and chocolate to a beer in a way that is just salivating. With a smell like a Reece's Peanutbutter cup and a flavor that takes you straight back to the best PB&J sandwich that grandma ever made, this beer is a real treat! As rich and delicious as the flavors are, the most interesting thing about this beer is how drinkable it is. It's not as heavy and filling as the tongue leads you to believe. Dangerously tasty, the first sip just makes you want more and each sip becomes more delicious than the last. This is one of my top 10 all time favorite beers. A must-try!!!

Smokey and creamy, chocolate and malted perfection infused into a drinkable delight. I love this beer. bigwesticle (37) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - NOV 30, 2012
Wow. I’m not gonna be nit picky like the rest, this beer is flat out amazing. It’s a hard idea to make into an actually tasty reality, and terrapin nailed it. Chocolate porter notes with slight subtle peanuts on the nose. Straight reeces peanut butter cups taste-wise, without being to rich or sweet. I agree it could maybe be creamier but overall they did a fantastic job with this beer. Called one of my local stores to hold back what I could. Very good. The nose is coffee and chocolate. Black with a small tan head. Sweet with some roast notes. Full bodied with a distinct smoothness. Not any peanut flavor, but a nice smooth quality.

Smell of peanuts molasses and a little coffee. Taste goes along with smell. Not too sweet chocolate and plenty of peanuts with coffee notes. Just not too much flavor to be obtrusive.

Peanut butter cup in a glass! Subtle peanut that sneak up on you in the finish. Djosher (16) - Tampa, Florida, USA - MAY 20, 2013
22 oz. bottle from loved ones over the holidays. With gifts like this, the love keeps pouring. I'm not much of a porter guy, but this one hit the spot. Not too sweet, malty or boozy; very well balanced, but very tasty in an intriguing way. Pours black with a little tan head. All the flavors-chocolate, peanuts and other sweetness are subtle enough to make this a very drinkable brew.

Tried this beer the other night. Had a nice silkyness to it. Very dark color and good strong chocolate presence. zizzybalubba (1869) - Raleigh, North Carolina, USA - SEP 8, 2014
12 oz. bottle from SoHo Organic Market, Elizabeth City, NC. Dark brown pour with a frothy khaki head. Aroma of chocolate and roasted nuts. The taste is pretty incredible with peanut butter hitting the tongue first followed by a chocolatey finish. The flavors are very well balanced for a tasty and very drinkable brew. Easily exceeded my expectations. Great beer!
