bottle. near black with a very small tan head. roasty, charred peanut shells nose. flavor combines a mildly sweet, roasty porter with a light note of unsweetened peanut butter nuttiness with shells. nutter butter cookies without sugar. medium to full body. nice porter with hearty handful of peanuts. i think a little more residual sugar would let the peanut flavors really shine. jcweaver (768) - VA Beach, Virginia, USA - DEC 1, 2012
Bottle. Pours almost black with a tiny brown head. Light roast aroma with peanuts and chocolate. Slightly sweet, lightly roasty flavor with a great combo of peanuts and chocolate. More pronounced peanut notes in the finish. A great tasting porter. aracauna (3651) - Georgia, USA - FEB 24, 2013
Dark, creamy head. There’s a lot of cocoa. Creaminess and sweetness makes me wonder if Kickbacks is cutting their beer with chocolate milk this morning. sycjr (3) - Tampa, Florida, USA - MAR 5, 2013 does not count
@CCB during Tampa Bay beer week, Lots of Chocolate, no coffee notes at all, peanut flavors where minimal. Not chewy

Bomber from mixmasterob. Pours very dark brown with a foamy tan head. Aroma of chocolate peanuts. Like a bag of them. Med body. It’s very chocolate, very dark malt, and peanut. Chocolate is dark and dominant. But peanuts tend to stay past the finish. Quite an unusual and excellent ale. bellco33 (835) - Willington, Connecticut, USA - DEC 31, 2013
Poured from bottle into tulip: pours black with a thin tan head. Aroma of chocolate and peanut butter. Taste is.mostly chocolate, a little nutty, and slightly lactose. This beer confuses me but it works! Lighter body than I expected. Good stuff. tmm313 (55) - Georgia, USA - MAY 11, 2014
I had this limited release fresh and on-tap at Terrapin Brewery. I typically only have 2 pints of anything, but this one was different. I had 5 or 6 or 7. I COULD NOT get enough of it. samsmith33 (772) - - JUN 16, 2014
Appearance: dark black color. Small white head.
Aroma: as it should be. Lots of peanut butter, some chocolate.
Taste: more chocolate comes through in the taste. Malty.
Feel: smooth, low carbonation.
Nice beer, comparable with Sweet Baby Jesus. USA 2, Ghana 1.

12 oz bottle. Pours a deep brown with a two finger khaki head that leaves plenty of lacing. Aroma of roasted chocolate malt and peanut butter. Taste is bittersweet chocolate, roasted chocolate malts, and peanut butter. Long, dry finish of roasted chocolate malts. Heavy, drinks like a stout. Full bodied, creamy texture, low carbonation. Exactly as advertised. Very good desert beer here.
