Pours a deep, almost clear ruby with a dense light tan head that leaves very good lacing. Aroma is pine, pepper, and soap. Taste is a wave of bittersweet rye followed by an intensely clean and bitter pine/soap finish that lingers for a while. Mouthfeel is thick, but thin enough to be refreshing. This is a good IPA alternative, and showcases the new hops well. DKing2706 (16) - - JAN 19, 2015
Fantastic rye style IPA, with great hop aromas and bitterness. Nice deep red like color with excellent head retention and body. This is a maltier beer in my opinion. Overall great beer! Augdraught1981 (266) - Harlem, Georgia, USA - MAR 7, 2015
Pours a beautiful dark red with a khaki 1 finger head. Pure canned tropical fruit punch aroma that’s delicious! Unbelievably smooth body & flavor with a hint of the aroma coming in late in the taste halfway down. Very low bitterness for an IPA and mainly a flavoring hopped IPA. Very different beer and very good. This is a really delicious & characterful A+ for me. May be the best beer I have had to date Skallish (15) - Georgia, USA - APR 19, 2017
Almost a perfect IPA when you consider it’s a red rye IPA made with Mosaic hops, so I guess that’s what gave it the really nice yet subtle aroma (aroma is the only feature I rated less then perfect). Else, it pored a beautiful ruby red gold color with a very healthy head and lacing. The aroma was subtle, that of an IPA, but with a twist, which I’m sure the red rye and the Mosaic hops share a responsibility in. Considering these ingredients the taste is unique for an IPA, but world class in taste. Has an excellent, smooth feel on the palate. Overall, I’d say its a perfect red rye IPA made from Mosaic hops. The aroma just needed greater strength. hoptimusPrimed (155) - SPAIN - MAR 24, 2016
Lovely, draft in elmariachi Atlanta. Pours lovely red colour, not much lacing. Recommended

Fresh hoppy piney tropical fruit scent. Dark red body slight amber top. piny, hoppy, dry citrus finish. Refreshingly dry on the palate. Delicious Gachupines (1252) - USA - SEP 8, 2013
Red with a thin white head. Aroma is roasted malt and mild pine hops. A little hit of resin at the edge. Flavor is mild pine hops with a resinous texture and a strong mildly sweet malt finish. A bit of sharpness from the rye comes through in the aftertaste. Reminds me of their Big Hoppy Monster, but a little less over hopped.

UPDATED: MAR 21, 2014 Reddish brown hued body w/ thick tan lacy head. Fruity nose w/ pine, citrus, rye, grapefruit & pineapple notes combine w/ malt backbone. Awesome brew. leah2974 (453) - Georgia, USA - MAR 26, 2013
