chinchill (5072) - South Carolina, USA - FEB 24, 2017
22 oz 2016 shared bottle. Orange-amber colored body with a white head. Sheets of lacing temporary coat the glass. High ABV is evident in both the feel and the taste. Floral, fruity and yeasty aroma. Strong flavor is just lightly funky, mildly tart, lightly peppered and quite fruity. Lively carbonation in a medium+ body.

marcus (10326) - Sacramento, California, USA - NOV 28, 2016
Bottle shared by bhensonb. Pours golden with a huge white head and a mild fruit aroma. There is a hearty pale malt flavor, a bit perfumy with a spicy moderately bitter finish. A pleasant drink.

bhensonb (15342) - Woodland, California, USA - NOV 28, 2016
Bomber from Bruisin Ales. Pours orangey gold with a white head. Aroma of fruit, pepper and a hint of earth. Near full bodied. Flavor is a bit fruity sweet, with light pepper and some light earth in the finish. Pepper persists lightly.

PanMarek (460) - Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 4, 2016
Complex nose that starts with spice (pepper) and then some savory notes and maybe a little fruit. Golden, slightly hazy pour with persistent white foam. Definite yeasty barnyard taste, complicated by spices and hoppy bitterness. The flavors shift, as advertised. Medium body with pleasant, active mouthfeel. The finish tends toward malt. A good one to spend a little time with.

argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - JUN 27, 2016
22oz bottle. Medium off-white head atop crystal clear light amber body. Aroma is medium sweet, herbal, some white pepper, spicy. Taste is moderately sweet, white pepper, some spicy, caramel, light herbal, alcohol warming. Medium body, some stickiness, acidity.

Christpuncher (3135) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUN 15, 2016
Aroma is peppery and hoppy. Flavor is spicy peppery, malty sweet and a little dry. Had in Myrtle beach. Pours gold with thick white head.

Butters (4059) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - JUN 5, 2016
Pours a nice light golden yellow with good white one finger head. Smells almost like a tripel, but flavor is more of a typical saison. Nicely complex. Finishes with a decent herbal hop bitterness. Quite nice actually, but don’t feel a super strong need to have it again.

glennmastrange (2882) - hobe sound, Florida, USA - MAY 20, 2016
Bottle. Moderate grain and cereal for the malt, light lemon and perfume for the hops, light dough for the yeast, with white wine, sulfur and grain alcohol in the background. Head is small to average sized, frothy, white with good lacing and is mostly diminishing. Color is sparkling clear medium amber. Flavor starts slightly sweet and lightly acidic, then the long finish is moderately to heavily bitter. Palate is medium, slick with a lively carbonation and has moderately astringent finish. Great smelling Saison with a lot of Belgian Tripel thrown in.

Gachupines (1252) - USA - MAY 17, 2016
Golden color with a light white head. Aroma is light pepper with a bit of clove. Flavor is clove and peppercorn. Not as crisp or sharp as a standard saison, but good nonetheless. Goes well with mildly spiced food.

Dorwart (2596) - Robbinsville, New Jersey, USA - MAY 14, 2016
Thin bright white head of rediculously small bubbles and an absurd amount of light and fluffy floaters in the bottle. Lightly sweet aromas with some sweet tarts, vegetal aromas, mandarin oranges, malt syrup and a hint of mild spicy hops. Color is a medium golden orange. Flavor is very sweet and malty with a bit of pepper bite at the end. You notice the heat and bite of the pepper but really dont feel it. More malts, earthy herbs, dandelion greens and spicy hops. It just seems overly sweet to me. The pepper is a nice touch but could use a bit of bitterness to offset the malts. And the floaters just set me off from the beginning. FILTER!!! Not one of the better offerings from Terrapin.
