Unclear medium grey amber color with a small to average, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, caramel, smoke, light to moderate yeasty, soap, spicy. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottled 65 cl. Courtesy of sincereNC. Pours a cloudy amber with an off-white head. Some fat Bamberg smoke in the nose. Pours a little thick and syrupy, some maple syrup perhaps and again lots of greasy smoke. Ends a little sweet with subdued hoppiness. But not a bad Smoked. 230211

Bottle from Cock and Bull. Poured clear dark brown color with an average frothy off-white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Moderate smoke malty and hop aroma. Medium body with soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet smoke flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate to long duration. 22 ounce bottle from Bruisin’ Ales. Pours a clear ruby red color with a thin head. Decent head retention and fair lacing. Aroma is caramel, fruit notes including strawberry and very light smoke. Taste is light smoke, caramel, toffee, peach, other fruit notes. Thin, papery vegetal hops. Medium bodied. Eh.
