Bomber from Sam’s, Durham. The overbearing cuteness of this theme is already making me think negatively about this beer, before it’s even in the fridge. Cloudy orange pour with a moderate head. Nose is spicy from the ginger and muddled from the tea, without much sense that this is actually an IPA. Mouthfeel is fairly lively, with crisp carbonation tend to accentuate the spiciness even further. Some hops do come through but they’re more or less generically bitter, without much personality. Kind of like this beer. DrSilverworm (9671) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - OCT 6, 2012
22oz bottle, purchased for $9 from Beer Run. Poured into a snifter. Awesome noticeably ginger aroma, and green tea. Creamy, smooth, lighter carbonation, above average body. Good herbal mildly soapy hop aroma. Light lemon. Seeing the rice pudding. Definitely floral. Light wheat. Complex, light bitter, with some zest. Amber/orange color made hazy by lots of particles suspended in the body. Awesome, creative take on an IPA. More enjoyable than Stone’s green tea attempt, from what I remember... This is much more smooth and balanced. Excellent, interesting brew. Would love to revisit. changeup45 (1731) - Lake Mary, Florida, USA - OCT 5, 2012
Bottle at Maggie’s Attic. Well, this is interesting. It’s not massively hopped but the herbal spice seems to mimmick the hops to give it a sharp bitter edge. It’s very drinkable though with plenty of tropical fruit and coconut flavors. Grassy and herbal notes are consistant throughout. There’s a dry bitter finish. Well done and really solid stuff.

8 oz. pour at The Pit. The aroma is sweet and malty with a fair hoppiness and some kind of spice, I’m guessing jasmine and looking at the description after the fact, was apparently correct. This is full bodied in a very good way. The hops are interesting. They give it a constant sting and a dry finish but don’t quite come to life. Grassy notes are everywhere with hints at cheese and a woody flavor that is almost cedar-like. I like this one despite the relatively timid hops. Thin off-white head of fine bubbles with decent carbonation. Nice hoppy aroma with some roasted malts, floral hops and a bit of toasted coconut upon deep inhale. Color is a medium orange with a slight haze to it. Wow, flavor is lively with jasmine, ginger, dry floral hops and some other spices and herbal flavors. Maybe even a bit of wheat texture and flavor in there. Strong hops presence and bitterness with a light alcohol presence. Finishes bitter and floral. This is a very well balanced and flavorful brew. Very good! dangjdangel (40) - - SEP 29, 2012
Yum! Poured from a bottle from Hop City. The aroma is refreshing and pleasant- the jasmine really comes through here. Pours a golden amber. The taste is perfect for summer-- the jasmine is light in taste and the ginger lingers on your palate. The best side project I've ever had!

I really like this one. It’s definitely hoppy, on the bitter side, especially.since the rice seems to have thinned out the body. I can’t really tell where the tea begins and the ginger and hops end. I’d say that’s a good thing. Most interesting new Terrapin release in a while. SpringsLicker (3641) - Tennessee, USA - SEP 24, 2012
The pour is hazy dark yellow with a fluffy white head.
The aroma is subdued, lemony citrus, but very faint.
Light bitterness, the sweetness is there but well out of the way.
i don’t taste all of that extra stuff at all.
