22 oz. bottle via trade with smith4498 - Pours a hazy amber color with a 1/3 finger thick off white head. Faint tiny spotted lacing. Aroma is toasted malt and light spice. Flavor is lightly sweetened toasted malt, esters, light spice, and what I think jasmine might taste like. Finishes a little dry. Medium body. A pleasant beer. Thanks Jason. maxwelldeux (4433) - Snohomish, Washington, USA - SEP 22, 2012
Bottle. Pours a golden color with a moderate head. Not a lot of smell off this one, but I get hints of hops and some sweetness. Taste is orangey and floral and not very hoppy. An odd IPA mansquito (7148) - Nueva York, New York, USA - SEP 22, 2012
Total Wine, Fairfax 650ml ($8): Golden with white head. Aroma is light hops, tea, and tropical fruits and stuff. Taste is mostly fruity, dry, and soapy. The hops are very mild, especially for an American IPA. The ginger is definitely there, but in small doses. The finish is very tea-like. Overall, this is a weird, but good IPA. wedgie9 (2703) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - SEP 16, 2012
Tasted on 9/16/12 from a capped 650mL bomber bottle purchased at Midtown. Pours clear orange with a thick white head that slowly recedes to average lace, leaving lacy residue along the inside of the glass. The nose is pretty strange with the jasmine rice and plenty of tea coming through with just a touch of ginger and a touch of caramel malt. The flavor is really dominated by the green tea, but there are hints of more traditional malt and hops as well, with just a tinge of ginger peaking through. The body is medium with average carbonation and a long jasmine tea finish. jnkor (477) - Columbia, Maryland, USA - SEP 16, 2012
At first there was no aroma, but as it went down I could sense a mix of maybe the ginger and hops. The taste was the same, full of a nice light hop with a little hint of ginger, but no strong ginger taste. Not much of any one thing.

The aroma was there but it wasn't all that great. Color is hazy and yellow. Is very hoppy. Bitter finish.

Bottle. Nice clear, golden beer with an average-looking head. The aroma is interesting, with a floral/herbal draw. My first sip isn’t exactly appetizing. The tea-ginger thing isn’t a great selling point for me. It almost comes across as a brewing flaw it’s so different than what you’d expect from "beer" -- grassy, bitter, cloying. It betters as you go, but never did rise to something I’d seek out again. (#4778, 9/13/2012) ttutony (952) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 11, 2012
Kind of a weak aroma of grain. Definitely taste the sorachi ace hops. Not bad but not my favorite...not sure this should be listed in the IPA category. rbrazell (1763) - Florida, USA - SEP 10, 2012
Draft at Fermentation. Clear orange pour with a white head that laces. Nose is lemon grass, green tea, lots of herbal notes, and some creamy malt sweetness. Bitterness in the front with some green tea, ginger, earthiness, more herbs and lemons. Very interesting beer that grows on you. Not bad. nick76 (4403) - Tampa, Florida, USA - SEP 9, 2012
The aroma is malty, herbal, spicy, and hoppy. The appearance is hazy copper with a medium head. The taste is very complex and amazing I love it. The palate is average. Overall this is a great beer.
