Strong tea aroma (of course). Little to no head. Tea compliments hop flavor. Could use a little more bubby. leah2974 (453) - Georgia, USA - NOV 13, 2012
A very fresh tasting IPA. Strong notes of jasmine tea, bright hops, very good. ellolovey (483) - Georgia, USA - AUG 24, 2012
Pours a clear golden with a frothy, white swiftly dissipating head. Has some white lacing. Aroma of juicy fruit and green tea. Very earthy hops. Smells amazingly sweet. The earthy hops overrule the sweet aromas. Medium body with a sticky texture.Taste lingers on the roof of the mouth. Soft carbonation. Green Tea compliments the hops in a lovely fasion. Finish is a lasting bitterness. Very refreshing and easy to drink. Like drinking sunshine..... SPDickerman (1239) - Texas, USA - JUN 8, 2013
Pours cloudy orange with a small white head. Smells a little hoppy, a little green tea, and a little ginger. Taste is green tea, ginger, and a little bitter. Medium-bodied with a slick texture and mild mouth-carbonation, Terrapin Side Project Samurai Krunkles finishes with a subtle tea-like bitterness. dangjdangel (40) - - SEP 29, 2012
Yum! Poured from a bottle from Hop City. The aroma is refreshing and pleasant- the jasmine really comes through here. Pours a golden amber. The taste is perfect for summer-- the jasmine is light in taste and the ginger lingers on your palate. The best side project I've ever had!

Malty aroma has a firm hoppy overtone plus hints of ginger and - must be jasmine. Pours a bubble, coppery amber with a fairly thick and fluffy ivory white head that hangs around. Flavor is rather hoppy, woody rather than evergreen, only slightly bitter, with hints of malt, ginger, jasmine and green tea. Distinctive and most enjoyable! Firm-bodied texture has good fizz and life, leaving a woody finish that has a hint of ginger. Say - ginger and green tea are supposed to be good for you, ergo, this is Health Beer! ;) unclemattie (4358) - Georgia, USA - AUG 5, 2012
Side Project 17:: 22oz bottle, foil wrapped. Pours golden amber color, white head. Malt aroma, hints of pressed ginger as it warms. Flavors of sweet rice pudding and loads of sencha, with a mild hop bitterness. The bitterness of the sencha tea mellows out the sweetness of the beer over the bitterness of any hops. Finishes with a bit of ginger bite tingle and a far away flavor of tobacco (more from the green tea.) I really think there should be more beer with tea as a flavor component. This beer is a perfect example. (3418) Malty_MacHops (688) - Eastanollee, Georgia, USA - OCT 26, 2012
Floral with notes of ginger and fruit in the peaches range. Deep golden with a small white head. Balanced with notes of floral hops balanced by the ginger and fruit flavors. Medium plus bodied with a balanced finish. aracauna (3606) - Georgia, USA - SEP 29, 2012
I really like this one. It’s definitely hoppy, on the bitter side, especially.since the rice seems to have thinned out the body. I can’t really tell where the tea begins and the ginger and hops end. I’d say that’s a good thing. Most interesting new Terrapin release in a while.
